  1. I reckon Bobby will go with the same 11 that started against Man City
  2. http://www.thesugarmill.co.uk/news/433/PETERHOOKTHELIGHTPERFORMUNKNOWNPLEASURESAJOYDIVISIONCELEBRATIONShiniesSat24thNov.htm Gonna try and get myself a couple of tickets to see this, looks like a good night out
  3. I know he's past it now, but i'd love to see Eidur back in a Chelsea shirt again, and possibly Carlo back as a number 2 to big Pete But on another note, how many players ever leave Chelsea and go on to bigger and better things?
  4. We've got a manager in RDM, who hopefully stays for a long time, why are people even discussing potential managers???
  5. Seems a pretty poor piece of journalism in all honesty, and lets be honest Oscar's clearly spent loads of time in and around Chelsea in order to talk the club up since he signed!!
  6. Granted, i felt totally pissed off and robbed of my saturday afternoon after the game yesterday, but i'm not going to start moaning already, its pre-season, it counts for nothing other than fitness in the grand-scheme of things... can anyone not remember standing at Kingstonians watching drivel in pre-season years ago and wondering how mediocre a season we're going to have??? This is the biggest season of our clubs history and there's lots and lots of trophies to be won, lets all try and not get disheartened by a couple of poor pre-season showings, we'll come good in the end, we almost always do these days
  7. If we play that bad (and yes yesterday was abysmal, and i get that is the point a few, not all, are making) when it actually counts for something, with 3 points, a place in the next round, or a trophy at stake, then i'll start to worry, we all seem to expect so much all the time... It seems that there's a few people on here that have too much of a defeatist attititude when things dont go to plan, its like Mike Tyson throwing the towel in before a massive boxing match because he's had a sh*te week of sparring. When your the best, everyone wants to beat you, we've still got to get used to that, for Brighton yesterday it was more than just a pre-season friendly... they wanted to beat the European Champions... for Chelsea the proverbial no-win situation, win and we all sit saying says "it's only Brighton" anything other than that and it's a case of "how have we not beaten Brighton" Keep the Faith
  8. Tim Cahill has always been a favourite of mine, and i like Nigel de Jong from Man City
  9. I think we'll lose Norwich, Southampton and either Stoke or Wigan this season
  10. Which three teams do you think are going to struggle in the Premier League this season and end up in one of the three relegation places come the end of May?

  12. At first i immediately thought Dan Petrescu at right-back, but then it dawned on me about the lack of firepower we've got at the moment, and started to consider the likes of Hernan Crespo at his very best, Hasselbaink for obvious reasons, Mark Stein who i think would score a hatful of goals nowadays, but with the players we have at disposal, and the variety of goals he used to score, i think Kerry Dixon would be the best choice to fit into this new look side.
  13. If you could pick just one former player from Chelsea's long history to add to the current crop at RDM's disposal, who would you pick, and why? It doesn't have to be your favourite player of all time, just a player that could provide what you think is missing from the current squad...
  14. Torres, has to step-up to fill the gap left by Didier while also proving to everyone that he can still stick the ball in the back of the next on a regular basis, if we don't sign another striker then i believe his task grows massively.
  15. I only got to four home games last season, so i can't really judge from the whole season... but my winner from the home games i went to would have to be the 6-1 over QPR, just for the reaction to the Torres hat-trick, even the quiet sections of the Bridge made a little noise
