Keep Carlo and bring back Ray Wilkins (again) and get Zola to be the strikers coach, teaching DD and Torres how to play together.

I'd like to see him play defensive midfield with JT and Alex behind him. This would allow him to use his speed, passing and attacking prowess whilst not always needing to drop back and defend.... and that way we could sell Mikel too ;-)

ha - I was quiet surprised at how quiete they all were to be honest. They had a lot of empty seats too.

Borini looks too lightweight to me... Can't ever seem him becoming a quality striker. Matic - an Eastern European Mikel?!

He looks decent. Would be good to see him get a run in the Chelsea team. Shame it doesn't look like happening.

I'mm glad some youngsters are getting a chance now... would be nice to have a couple of English (London) ones to take over from JT and Frank though.

Makalele was a quality player. Great close control and distribution. I still can't see what Mikel gives us. He takes too long to shift the ball from under his feet, doesn't get to it quick enough. Can't shoot (bar the one decent one he had against WHU the other day).

So we took our shoes off and sung "take your shoes off, Upton Park". I was just following the crowd but wasn't sure why?!

Not a great fan of these colour schemes... Prefer the more traditional look.
