Where do we go from here?
When I came down from the hype yesterday afternoon, I immediately felt that this was an end of an era. This is the time that we need to get rid of the old guard with a few exceptions. These are the players I would get rid of. Hilario - Only brought in as emergency cover. I would demote Turnbull down to third choice and Courtois as second choice. Ferreira - Right down the pecking order this season. I would keep Bosingwa as backup. Ivanovic in first team and buy Van Der Wiel Essien - Injury has hampered him for the last couple of seasons lost his pace and power. I would keep Merieles and start playing McEchran. Kalou - Shouldn't of played at all on Saturday. I was literally screaming at the screen to get him subbed about 30 minutes in. Sturridge to replace him Malouda - Getting on a bit, never really a fantastic player. Marin should be an ideal replacement or even Bertrand Drogba - Yes I said it. He has done everything for us now but for the sake of Torres who is a younger and on his day better striker, he needs to go. My Team for next season would be: GK - Cech DR - Ivanovic DC - Luiz/Cahill DC - Terry DL - Cole DM - Mikel/Romeu CM - Ramires CM - Lampard AMR - Sturridge FC - Torres AML - Mata Subs: Courtois Cahill/Luiz Mikel/Romeu Marin Lukaku Merieles McEchran

John Terry Payback
I don't hold that against JT what so ever. What annoys me more and none of the pundits or officials picked up on was Sanchez's reaction. JT kneed him, which probably wasn't that hard, he fell to the floor looked straight at the ref saw he wasn't looking, then swivelled around on a supposed hurt a**e cheek practically waved at the linesman to get his attention then rolled about supposedly hurt. He should of been booked for play acting P.S. Fabregas annoyed me as well when he went to for the penalty saw the crowd up in arms and then appealed to the ref. But because Barcelona and the supposed best team in the world they get away with everything. THE MIGHTY BLUES proved to everyone at The Bridge and at the Nou Camp that Barca are only human after all.

AVB Sacked!
I do feel very sorry for AVB, he was the right appointment but at the wrong time. It was far too early for him to manage in the premier league. He should of gone to Spain or Italy first. No doubt he will be a fantastic manager in about 10 years, and we could see him back at Chelsea at some point. The one problem is, what manager in the their right mind would want to manage Chelsea now, a few poor performances and they know they are going to be sacked. If Di Matteo is in charge until the end of the Season that means Mourinho or Guardiola must be getting the job.

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
John Terry - Captain, Leader & LEGEND. Chelsea fans, players, staff one big family with the one and only JT at the head of it. I can't think of any other team who are so unified like Chelsea!!!

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
Did anyone see John Terrys Death stare on page 9 of the Sun this morning. It just as Rio Ferdinand was walking down the tunnel and JT just stared ahead with the deathly hatred stare. When Wayne Bridge didn't shake Terrys hand a couple of years back JT did have a bit of a guilty look on his face. But the picture today tells a very different story, it was if he was saying "I am not going to give you the satisfaction of looking at you and I will fight my innocence all the way" Thats why he is Chelsea captain and thats why he should be England captain. I could see the FA do a u-turn on the decision if Capello threatens to resign from the post as England manager. Even the FA wouldn't let England go to a tournament without a manager. But then again.......

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
There are rumours going around now that JT might not even be included in the Euro squad if that was the case it would be fantastic if Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Gary Cahill and Daniel Sturridge all turn round and say "We are sticking behind our Captain, screw England and the Euros" Something else that would be quality: the court case is brought forward to March and JT is proven innocent and see the FA make a grovelling apology and reinstate JT as captain. I know that isn't likely to happen but it would be brilliant.

Terry - Allegation/Captaincy (merged)
I have just seen this: http://www1.skysport...ed-of-captaincy This is unbelievable, if I was JT I would say screw England and retire from International football. He is the best centre back we have and the FA treat him like rubbish. Rio Ferdinand banned for nine months for missing a drugs test GUILTY but he can be England Captain Steven Gerrard appeared in Court on a charge of affray NOT GUILTY but while his court case was due I believe he captained England Why is it always John Terry who always gets the S**t in the press and from the FA. How can John Terry be racist when he is the Captain of one of the most multi cultural clubs in English football.

He's gone
Even though this hasn't been our best ever season, but I was all for giving Carlo at least another season. I was watching the Player awards on Chelsea TV the other night, and Mark Austen touched on something we all need to remember, finishing runners up in the best league in the world isn't all that bad, when we look back on all the hard times our club has had. Please Roman give the next manager more time, this club is capable of going on to great things with a little patients and confidence. Chelsea All The Way Bring On Next Season. The Mighty Blues Forever!! P.S. Thank You Carlo for everything.

What Has Happened?
Personally I would of started with Torres, Alex and Ramires. For the last few games Carlo has played Lampard Essien and Ramires, so why on earth did he start with Mikel in the most important game of the season. I have no idea. Also I ask you to remember when we had Big Phil as manager a few seasons ago, against mid table sides he was alright, but against one of the other big four he looked out of his depth, which could be said for Caro this season. The thing is we wouldn't be having this discussion if this was Carlos first season in charge, because we would of been saying, he needs to get used to English football and so on. But I can't see how a manager can win a domestic double in his first season and then fail spectacularly the season after wards. Aging squad or not, they can't become that bad in the space of a couple of months during the summer.

What Has Happened?
Going into today's match, I fully believed we were going to upset the odds and beat Man U and eventually retain the title. I and I imagine all of you were deeply disappointed. In my opinion Carlo should not of threatened to take Luiz off in the first minute, not really the way to build confidence. Bringing on a midfielder and a defender at half time when we needed goals. I don't know about you but we seemed a bit more lively up front when Torres came on. I was all for giving Carlo another season, but after today a must win game, he just didn't seem to know what he was doing, and I think he is the one holding Torres and Drogba playing in the same team back. We need a manager who can manage a TEAM of world class players and not only a few. I say bring Ray Wilkins as full time manager. We were doing well when he was only the assistant, imagine what we could do if he was the actual manager. Also we need to replace the likes of Ballack, Deco, Belletti which Carlo failed to do in both transfer windows this season.

Torres
I have to point this out again, how disappointed I am to see players of such talent and calibre not pass to a player who is equal or a little bit better them. I truly believe that Torres will come good and start scoring, he is improving with every single game he plays. But watching todays game against Man City, you could see how frustrated Torres was getting when he was in space and the player with the ball at the time decides to do it all himself. One last note, I wouldn't of taken Torres off, I would of taken Malouda off for Anelka and Kalou off for Drogba.

Torres
Even though Yossi hasn't had the best of starts to life at Chelsea because of injury problems, but could he be the answer for Torres goal drought. Yossi knows how Torres plays from their time at Liverpool, maybe playing Yossi just behind him in the attacking midfielder role feeding balls to Torres or on the right wing and feed balls in that way. In my opinion if Carlo doesn't find an answer soon, I dont think Torres will be around for too long.

Calling All Chelsea Players Pass To Torres
I can see what you are saying about Drogba, but when Drogba came on last night, it just seemed that he was more interested in doing everyrthing himself and not wanting to get Torress involved. If both parties are willing we could have one of the best strike partnerships in the world.

Calling All Chelsea Players Pass To Torres
I started watching last nights match with all the belief that Torres was going to break his duck. I think he has improved greatly over the last few games. It might of just been me but nobody seemed to pass to him. He was in space and would of had a good chance on goal but everyone else wanted to make it hard and go through about 3-4 defenders when Torres at one point only had evra marking him. I know he needs to get used to our system, but it is a two way street and the rest of our players on the pitch should try to play how Torres likes, other wise he will become a flop like Shevchenko did a few seasons ago.

Malouda OUT, Zhirkov IN?
Watching last nights match, I was getting so frustrated with Malouda, he would not pass to Torres, I lost count to how many times Torres was in space and all malouda wanted to do was take it round everyone which wasn't happening and was eventually tackled. For the past couple of games Malouda hasn't looked like a team player and hasn't been playing with enough heart. My thoughts are sell him, bring in Yuri and see what Kakuta is like as a back up next season.
