After a tough draw against Napoli, im glad we got Benfica.. I did not want madrid/milan/bayern/barca. Well, we proved our worth by showing what our squad whose been criticised entire season can do! No stopping us now! We are in it cause we earned our spot and we deserve it!

Cech iva, cahill, terry, a.cole rambo, essien, lampard ......... Mata ....... Torres... Drogba... We need a change! Having sturridge aint gna help us much. When we need goals all hes gonna do is be selfish. And well, sturridge has missed his last 3 open chances in front of goal. Might as well count on torres, as he can create a lot better with his crosses. If hes not doing well we can bring sturridge later on.

well mate, sturridge has not scored in the league for i think 7 games. And buddy, just because torres cant score you are against him? If you look carefully you will see how selfish a player sturridge is. Torres is a team player. He is contributing with his assists. And as long as he is contributing he has evry right to be in the team. Plus torres is a right footed player, who will do a lot better than sturridge. Did you forget the perfect cross he gave to mata against united?

How about we play mata - drogba - torres? Sturridge missed 2 open chances which cost us the game against West Brom. He missed a clear chance against Birmingham which torres created. Torres has given us a lot of Assists thisseason. He can contribute a lot better than sturridge. Starting torres over drogba? Dicey. Cause of his form to score. But starting torres over sturridge? Quite a good move.

cech bosingwa - iva/cahill - luiz - betrand ------------Essien--------------------- Meireless --- Lampard ----- Mata -----------Torres -- sturridge------- 4-1-3-2 this gives us a better attack from the right side with bosingwa the wing back, but also makes our defense on the right side a bit weak considering Bosingwa's weak defensive abilities. ryan bertrand deserves a chance, he can cross the ball very well. and has the pace and can create chances from the left side. having Essien instead of Romeu would be better as he is better at the attack side of the game as compared to Romeu, essien can score goals too either from corners or from his long range shots. Meireless can do a lot better if he is not given the holding role. we need LAMPARD! that's what we have been missing, i believe he was not played against Swansea as he could have been rested to be fully fit for the game against united? against united i think Mata could be our turning point.. its been more than a couple of games where mata hasn't been outstanding. sturridge should be the left forward, him and torres both have the pace. they can be a deadly combination if and only if Sturridge gives up on being selfish.

you'd expect city to win, we were set to loose the game right till the last minute where everything changed. getting a point out of a game where we did not have Lampard, Ramires, Terry and also the red card for ashley cole.. thats not a bad result! a point is much better than going down 3 pts even further. Mata and Sturridge both have been disappointing. Sturridge is doing nothing at all what a winger is supposed to do. he has hardly got us any sort of assist's the entire season. neither is he involved in the creation of goals. yes he has scored goals but we want him to create more chances for others as well and not be selfish the entire time, in this match particularly i could hardly see Mata or Sturridge get involved. Malouda is useless, its like playing a man down. from no angle does it seem that he is trying his best or putting in efforts. we cannot blame Torres for not scoring, you actually expect him to score with the midfield playing like this? with no Lampard and Ramires to get the ball ahead?
