Like I wrote before: for me, he is a combination of DD and Inzaghi...Very strong, even though he doesn't look like he is, great with the ball, can dribble, receives the ball perfectly, doesn't mess up clear chances and, like Pipo, is always at the right place at the right time!

I thought Dzeko story was over, as Milan reps came to Sarajevo to get him. But, now Mirror is messing with my head again and my hopes are again high!! Us signing him would be a dream come true for me!!!

I beg to differ, my friend. If there is one player that I know of that can muscle his way through defence and make them look silly, like Drogba does on his best days, that is Dzeko!! On a sad note, for me, it does look like he will leave for AC Milan, if Wolfsburg decide to sell him. Hopefully they won't and he will stay for another year and prove his worth in CL next season!!

The reports from this morning say that Man C and Arse are battling for "the diamond". I must say, that bothers and troubles the hell out of me! I don't think I could bare watching my countryman playing for one of our biggest rivals...and the main problem is that I strongly feel that he would do quite well at Arse!! The report also says that they could get him for as low as 13.5 mil EUR!!?!?!

The press conference just finished and there is nothing new to report. He took the opportunity to dismiss rumors that he has already signed for Chelsea or AC Milan. Basically, he said that there will be a definite decision in about 10 days and that he is "in talks with his current club Wolfsburs and many other big European clubs". So, there you go...we just have to wait and see! I am still keeping my hopes high!!! :D

On another note...If he were to come, we would have two Bilals: Nicolas Bilal Anelka and Franck Bilal Ribery! ;)

And, if he does sign he'll be wearing No. 7 shirt!?!? Please, give him different number as we are not so lucky with players wearing No. 7! :o

Well, even though I've been tracking him for years it is only in the last 6-ish months that he made his mark in both club and international football (don't forget that Dzeko is leading scorer in Europe for South Africa). He would've been worth 6 months ago even less than 10 mil, but now his price went up by million with each goal he scored! :D The thing is, it was another Bosnian, Ibisevic, who stole all the headlines in the first part of the season with 18 goals in 17 matches! I am still keeping my hopes high that we will sign him no matter who stays or goes!

I haven't written anything here for months...But, when there is a rumor of my countrymen (Dzeko and Misimovic) going to CFC I have to give my thought on the subject. Though my pick is more of sentimental reasons, I still feel we could use a player like him. In my opinion, he is a combination of Drogba/Inzaghi/Adebayour. He is quite fast and strong in the box, yet he always seems to be in the right moment at the right time (hence, Pipo comparison). Don't be fooled with all Bundesliga-EPL comparison and that Bundesliga is of "lower quality". That doesn't change the fact that Dzeko is a top striker. He scores when given the opportunity. He doesn't waste chances and he is a master in finding space. One thing stands, though, is that Dzeko must operate with a quality midfielder who can supply him with balls (which Misimovic is) and it also helps to have another striker who can divert defenders and make more space for Dzeko. So...the bottom line is: Here is a chance to have somebody who is extremely reliable in front of goal! And, although he is tall he is very skillful and strong which makes him perfect for EPL!!! I was dreaming of having a Bosnian in CFC for years...I hope my wish comes true!! UP THE CHELS!!!
