    Anyone remember Nobbins? An appeal for money in the programme that was requested to be put in collection buckets after our home matches in appreciation of a good performance. Circa mid 1970s when Chelsea was crippled with debt from the then new East stand, came from boxing terminology.

    Cetainly bleak days ahead, I cannot relate to Todd Boehly, Poch or indeed the majority of our recently signed players. Its now hard to see where the next goal or win may come from, a certain recipe for the slippery slope leading to failure.

    A few weeks ago I posted tongue in cheek that we would be lucky to score another 5 goals this season, unfortunately this may turn out to be the case. No goals and turgid football is a recipe for sliding into the bottom danger zone. Failure breeds failure and Potter does not look the man to steer us away from long term mediocrity.

    1975 Main contingents of fans travelling from Liverpool Street were locked out. The gates were shut early due to the weight of attendees, I just got in and the turnstile gates were closed. As far as I can remember we had 2 goals disallowed, ended up isolated in a Spurs section below the shelf, miserable day all round.
