I wrote to LBC i think it was & got a short recording of our game away to Austria Vienna, i went but my mate couldnt go & listened to the commentary, at the start of the game Alan Mullery stood up & his co commentator said why are you standing Alan? to which A.M replied just listen to that & in the back ground was GOD SAVE THE QUEEN being sung loud as f@ck by 5,000 of us, he also mentioned various Chelsea flags including mine, he said Chelsea have a massive following here from all necks of the wood, Sutton, Hounslow, Scarborough, Bath to name a few. Sadly the recording i got is different to the one my mate heard, still good though.

    Van Ginkel to Chelsea

on Instagram MVG just uploaded a video of himself jogging on the spot in a swimming pool, looks like the recovery is going quite well...moving away from the no impact stuff to the pool is a good sign. Still a long way to go, but I am sure he is happy that he is progressing.

Stuttgart have been underachivers in my opinion, they are one if two BuLi teams whos reserve teams play in the 3rd tier which is the highest a reserve team can go in Germany and have many quality players but poor management has been the death of them. Especially when they won the BuLi with quality players lime Gomez and Khedira they did little to replace them with decent players including the UCL money. They had a good start vs BvB on friday but they played into BvB's game when they went right at them but overall they are a quality team. Watch out for a guy called Alexendru Maxim he is a quality AM!

If you ever find it and listen to it please let me know if my recollection of that goal is in any way accurate. Probably my memory playing tricks but I remember it as I described it above.

I'm sorry, Syd, but to put Gerrard in the same sentence as those three, when that sentence doesn't start with "Gerrard isn't fit to clean the boots of......." is just plain wrong.

Must admit my opinion has changed on this. I was quite happy to stay at the bridge until recently when we seem to be selling out home games quite quickly and some of my non member mates can no longer get tickets and this hasn't been the case in previous seasons. I always felt 60,000 was a bit top heavy and we wouldn't fill it but now I think we will, and to become self sufficient we need that extra revenue the additional crowd will bring. So lets make those hard decisions and get it sorted! For me Battersea would of been good but as that is a no goer I feel anywhere in the old heartlands is a must, maintain our identity. Just think a top league game where almost any member could go or a capital one cup game where its a tenner a ticket!!!!

Do not know why there is such an obsession with staying in cramped London SW, there is plenty of space around here, why just at the back of me is 60 acres, it is only 3.5 / 4hrs from the bridge, prefect. Especially for me.

    What are you listening to?

After playing GTA V, I've been obsessed with this Cruising down San Andreas with Trevor, running bitches over with this full blast in the car. Yes.

    Our New Stadium

Suddenly the Health and Safety officials of the local council activate selective memory about how Chelsea supporters pre 90s were rammed into Fulham Broadway station every other week. Its a total farce, theres enough room behind the West stand to expand and dont forget where the wall for the Old shed goes back to.

The last game I went to at the Bridge was the F.A. youth cup final second leg match against Norwich.A fiver to get in,arranged at short notice,me & the older bruv went along and had a great night, just a shame about the result.Still to be fair, bloody good value though. Even he as a West Ham supporter enjoyed it.(the miserable bugger!). To be honest,we were out sung by the Norwich faithful who fair play to them, brought a fair number along & really got behind their lads. But, apart from the fans memorial wall in the concourse, which was a nice touch, sitting in The Shed was a bit sh*t to be frank. I can't afford to go much these days and even if I could,I'd find it hard to justify £45-£55 spend on a match ticket when there's just so many everyday bills to pay. But if by a lottery win or some such I could afford it,I'd demand a hell of a lot more for my dough.I don't mean the team,I mean the choice to be amongst fans like myself. For example,on cheap matches where you sit anywhere for £30,it's a bit awkward to shout the occasional 'wake up Chels, for f**ks sake!',when there's a family with kids sitting in the row behind you.It just doesn't feel right. You need to feel ok within your surroundings & as I tend to swear a bit,I'd rather be nowhere near a family with kids. We have family sections in grounds which is great of course, but we also need adult only sections where you can swear, shout & make the occasional rude joke out loud & have a fecking good time doing so in my opinion. If the rail seat system helps with the fact that it gives fans a choice where they can watch a game, then bring it on I say. And charge a reasonable ticket price of course!.
