JT has never been done for assult. He was acquitted. The 9/11 stuff was pretty minor. Read Lamps' account. No US tourists made a complaint. It was just a barman saying the players got drunk and there were upset US tourists in the hotel.

    Ruben Loftus-Cheek

I thought he was okay yesterday. For a player as young as him to be performing noticeably better than the senior players shows he's developing nicely. Hopefully he starts the remaining fixtures this season by then i think we'll have a good idea of how ready he is to play for Chelsea.

The players should be committed to the club and manager, isnt that what everyone has wanted since October? If they cant be bothered they may as well go, no matter who they are

Pretty sure the signing was more to do with his agent, Kia Joorabchian. Joorabchian facilitated the move that got us £25m for Ramires, while we brought in 2 of his clients, Miazga & Pato. I find it hard to believe they're not linked anyway.

9/11 stuff was nothing made out to be something, it was literally nothing to do with 9/11.Cleared ofv assault too. And what alleged business? Hes no saint, hes quite obviously a d**khead at times but some of the bollocks written about him is hilarious.

To stop any lasting confidence damage? the boy had a reggie, didnt see a single positive from that first half from him, would be better to get him off reassure him and take him out of the firing line, its one thing looking alright against a villa side who are basically already down and will probably stay down, then it is against a swansea side who want to make sure they stay up. Like I said earlier im expecting the kid to go out on loan and not to be back anytime sooner either, doesnt have anything that makes him stand out from any other average centreback for me, I think this signing might be more about his nationality than his actual talent as we effectively plucked him from a league one club in the hope he may become useful eventually or sold for profit and maybe to help with our american market commitments/marketing.

    Our New Stadium

I can 't see it on the Planning Committee's Agenda yet (but they've only published an Agenda for their April meeting so far). Hopefully next month or two we'll see the Stadium Application meeting where the Planning Officers will give their recommendation to approve or not. People can keep an eye out for it on the H&F Committee Calendar here (check ; Planning and Development Control > Agenda) http://democracy.lbhf.gov.uk/mgCalendarMonthView.aspx?M=5&CID=0&OT=&C=-1&MR=0&DL=0&D=1&ACT=Earlier&DD=2016 Indicative construction Phases (depending on permission being granted and all other issues resolved).

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Antonio Conte has stressed he wants players who are fully committed and that he will sanction the sales of those who are not. [Guardian] I'm guessing this where the rumours about Hazard and Courtious are coming from. Rumours are that we're actively looking to sell Hazard for £80m but probbarly looking at more £60m. I more surprised by Courtious. He's had a poor season but we should try and keep him as he's so young. I really hope Conte knows what he's doing. I'm not doubting him but it makes me nervous moving these two on. Selling Hazard and Courtious will be big talents moving on at a low point in our recent history.

Fantastic old photos......Roy Bentley was sold (transfer fee £ 8,600 ) by Chelsea to Fulham September 1956, when he was 32 years old....... this caused a lot of Chelsea fans to protest their dissatisfaction including daubing graffiti on the gates at Stamford bridge.

    Our New Stadium

If anyone wants to add their support for the new Stadium before it goes to the Planning Committee you can fill in a short comment here particularly if you live in Hammersmith & Fulham. It's usually only the objectors who bother to write in, so any support could help with the application. http://public-access.lbhf.gov.uk/online-applications/applicationDetails.do?activeTab=makeComment&keyVal=NVL8QGBI0IE00

Don't understand hooking the lad at half time, especially when you're moving a midfielder into central midfield player into the defence as a consequence. We're playing for nothing so let the younger lads learn in a competitive environment. Alright Miazga wasn't having the best of games but honestly half the reason was Ivanovic playing a stinker... He frustrates me in that when he's at fault he gesticulates at those around him as if it's everyone else's fault but his, I certainly don't see a captain in him when things are going badly.

The 9/11 stuff, being done for assault. That's before all the "alleged" business. Not saying he hasn't completely matured now though and is a great mentor for the kids.

    Thibaut Courtois

I didn't know about his newborn child but there should be no ultimatums from him anymore. He can't be 1st choice if he makes ridiculus mistakes. He should grow some balls are fight for the spot on the team if not I believe we should sell him.

    Thibaut Courtois

And if it is a problem with Conte then we should all back whatever decision he makes, but is Begovic really better than Courtois? Of course you're free to believe that but hasn't it been the case that in the wider footballing world, Courtois has been acclaimed as being one of the top goalkeepers around? That includes coaches, players and pundits. Of course they might all be wrong but should we really be ditching someone like Courtois after a mediocre season, when De Gea went through something very similar before coming out the other side? I know what you're likely to say because you've made your position clear but is there a possibility that at the age of 23 and in only his second season in the league that he goes on to become a great keeper? Is there even a sliver of a chance? And if there is shouldn't we give him one more season?

Shame he turned he's back when the shot came in for the goal he has a habit for doing that but all in all he played well and was one of the better players for us which wasn't hard

Exactly what I think, somebody that Roman will listen too that could persuade him to hold off abit on things he probably shouldn't be involved in

thanks. Knowing he won the league in 55, it was just a case of whether it was done before or after.

I like Guus but he's going to be 70 in a few months time and before he came back here he'd had a pretty unremarkable five years. He's come in, 'steadied the ship' to a certain extent and he deserves our gratitude but we need to move on now. I think it's a bad idea to have old figures of authority hovering in the background in any line of work. Let the guy do what he said he was going to do a few years ago and retire, whilst Conte goes about rebuilding this club in the way he wants.

    Eden Hazard

We need to focus on getting Hazard back to his best instead of selling him and looking more like mediocre side without any serious threat. The thought of Jose ditching KDB bugs me more and more with every passing day. We could easily do with a player like him if Hazard were to leave.

Be stupid to sell Cech then sell his replacement. Begovic is decent but he's not a top keeper

Fast friends staying late after training, good on them. In the same article Matt also says JT has been mentoring him sooooo just another story about how good John does at welcoming in young players

    RIP Mourinho

    Eden Hazard

Interesting how short sighted a lot of our fans are. Three incredible season with Chelsea and people are claiming he's the best in the league and could possibly win Ballon D'or one day. Then one season later after a miserable and injury ridden season everyone wants him gone. Lets not forget the whole team was sh*te under Mou, then when Guus comes in Hazard has had recurring injuries. Hazard has stated multiple times in interviews how he loves Chelsea yet everyone would rather believe The Sun and other gossip rags linking him away. If Hazard goes we won't have any world class players in the team other than possibly Cesc and we definitely won't be able to sign any world class wingers next year to replace him.

It's an ad for Genes Reunited however it's an interesting insight from a family who have supported Chelsea since the club's first game. Joe who has supported Chelsea since the late 1920's and whose Dad saw Chelsea's first match at the Bridge in 1905 gives a good account of the family's support with additional comments from his daughter. Also some great old films of Stamford Bridge back in the 30's.........
