+ He never gets in trouble like Jose p.e. I believe Roman wants to give him extension but the Conte himself is wondering about ambition and the finances we will provide him to buy the players he wants. But right now, there is a stability in scores that I'm sure if Conte stays, will give us many battles for the title in upcoming years. Even this season we would be a real contender if City wasn't that perfect. I believe Chelsea can be like United in 2000's - champions many times and if we are not, due to some extraordinary performance like this one from City, and always involve in top 4. We had so many problems at the beginning of the season, it's unbelievable that we are right next to United. Give this man a new contract, and more importantly - the right amount of money for players. He totally deserves it.

Excuse me good sir, you seem to have a rather large chip on your shoulder. Would you like someone to remove it? How many players come from foreign leagues and need time to settle in and get use to the English game? Would you have us have sold Drogba?

No one can deny his free kicks are brilliant. I feel like he is going to score every-time he takes one.

All things considered, he's done a good job to steady the ship and have us comfortably in the top 4 at this stage. The aim is to consolidate our spot in the top 4 and win a trophy or two (most likely FA Cup and/or League Cup), which would be a good return in his second season. Whether he stays beyond this season is anyone's guess, but I would be disappointed to see him depart if that's how it transpires at the end of the season.

In his 2nd spell, Jose traded future success with instant success. That's all there is to it imo. We had a good mix of youth a few years ago.

He's such a tart. Hes's had a pop at coaches celebrating goals for the cameras when he's there "Look at me everybody - not celebrating. Look at me"

This is it. The same sort who are quick to throw young players they don't like under the bus at the earliest opportunity then complain about losing them when they've developed into top players. Only been a few months and they want the man gone. Utter stupidity, imo. Give him a fair amount of time and then decide. Drinkwater is probably not fully fit but I've not been exactly impressed with him so far either, so not sure what some on here are clamouring about. (I think he'll do a solid-good job, eventually , though, Drinkwater that is.)

I think we as fans are too hard on young players that come in and then don't meet our expectations; yes he has had a few stinkers and certainly missed a few chances, he is young and has talent that needs to be harvested and directed; clearly Conte believes in him or he wouldn't play him as much as he does. I'm sure if Jose was still at the helm he would have binned him, as he did with several others and we all know where they've ended up. As bad as he appears to be, have some patience or he could end up joining the likes of Salah and KDB.

Moses has always had good pace, dribbling, crossing and a decent shot so it was an easy transition to RWB. Bakayoko ain't got any decent skills. Maybe he's good in goal.

Hindsight - the thing Chelsea fans are currently using in regards to Salah & KDB who weren’t give a chance and moved on to early. If this time next season he hasn’t improved fair enough but I’m willing to give the guy who turn Moses from deadweight to steady wing back a chance.

Very average at best. If his performances don't improve drastically(which would require his skill set to massively improve.) he's gone at the end of the season. I hold very little hope he'll even improve never mind add quality, worthwhile performances to this team. Bad buy. OverAndOut, I totally agree. Worst part about playing him apart from playing him is that he's keeping other good players in the squad like Fab and Drink outta the team.

Drogba contributed, and it's easy to say that when you're looking back with the benefit of hindsight and seeing that Drogba ultimately went on to give so much to the club. You can tell instinctively that Crapash*tto isn't that player. He is beyond gash. I would rather have Mikel back and that's saying something. Shooting, passing and intercepting is not unique to the English game. He can't even get the basics right.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager

Well, its not guaranteed that he would be able to provide the same assists from completely different zone of the pitch. You see where his shots go? It's very unusual the way Dave's kicking the ball. He was on the right side, he was on the left side and simply he didn't deliver anything. I believe the way he is spinning the ball is possible only from where he stands right now. + he is the best defender in the team. Absolutely no need to change something that works.

Conte is also a classy guy. Always behaving well and if it boils over he apologises like a man and moves on. A certain portugese coach lacks that class. I'm pretty sure Roman would love him to stay for long but to be honest I don't see it happening. Not solely because Chelsea fire managers but Conte probably wants to see other cities and other clubs at this point in his career. Hope he stays beyond this season.

His problems are mental. Needs to anticipate better and not lose focus. That being said, needs to up the ante on a lot of his abilities. Average in pretty much most of them but is woeful in finishing.

    Marcos Alonso

today is one of the things that annoys me with alonso. he will be poor, but he's always got a goal in him from a fk or header, finding space on the left side of the oppo's box and scoring with his feet etc. we do need a better lwb, but when he scores important goals for us it's hard to just push him aside.

He could have done a better job this season with rotations. His mistrust of Batshuayi is beyond strange and now the lad barely looks match-fit.

What is apparent though is we get good balls from the RCB with Azpi finding Morata. I'm hoping we get Sandro during this break and that Alonso could play LCB because as we all state he has several other attributes besides pace and crosses.

I think the board will wait til the end of the season and depending on how well we do will offer him a new contract. I think he's shown his class, as fans we've got a great connection with him and would be nice to see him here long term and backed massively in the transfer market.

    Marcos Alonso

They're both defenders, if Alonso had Bale's pace he'd be a true winger. His crossing is hit or miss but he still offers more going forward than the large majority of defenders. 10 goals and 4 assists in the league so far for us. The threat is real.

Like the way he's been telling it as it is. He said what was true after last Saturday's shock loss, made the changes and we backed up with 2 wins in 3 days. We are a long way from the title not just because how we played, but City's been on such an amazing run, we'd have to winning 10-12 on a trot to keep up with them. In the last 10 games, we got 25 points, and we won all the home games after City. As supporters, as much as we want to win every game, we need to acknowledge Conte has done pretty well after the early setbacks on/off the field at the start of the season. If we ever want a long term engagement ( 3 years +) with a manager, he's the one! With all due respect to Carlo, lovely man as he is. He's done that dance with us, what could he possibly improve by coming back? He's not going to get his all stars transfer wishes, and this league is a lot harder than the one he was in last time around.

I don’t think it is all over with Antonio just yet, it is surely obvious to the board how much he is loved by us fans, his name is sung with gusto every game. I just hope for once they take it on board and do what they can to keep him. At the moment, I cannot say with confidence who I would have to replace him. In my opinion he is that good. I love his passion and the fact he celebrates every goal as if he has just scored himself. We need to tie him into a new contract, give him anything he wants and back him in the summer window. Last season of course but also this season, I feel I’ve enjoyed going the bridge more than I have in years.... i think Contes passion has definitely rubbed off on the fans.

Not that i would agree with Antonio being sacked should it happen but i am not big on fans having a say in how the club should be run, if it was up to the average Chelsea fan Conte wouldn't have been appointed in the first place.

Messi is an obvious choice. Let the poor bar steward score against Chelsea, even if in training, before he retires.
