    Willian

I don't even need to click that link to know it's a load of crap they made up. He got dropped because he hasn't been playing very well lately.

Why be shocked about something you don't know what went on? Perhaps there were no takers for Pedro, perhaps Boga didn't want to come back, certainly not after considering what you suggested about moving him again, perhaps Sassuolo didn't want to let him go.

And in haalands case, those negotiations were all done before we knew if we were even allowed to buy anyone. Pretty tough negotiation position when you have to end every sentence with...... if we are allowed to

    Tammy Abraham

For the most part though, if the answer is Michy, it was a f**king silly question in the first place. I don't know why he isn't able to look like a footballer for us, he seems to have done quite well elsewhere, but in the blue he makes me look like Cruyff in his prime.

  9. Serie A was the best league in Europe during the 90's and it was still strong during the early 2000's, their teams were also signing talented players but they still had a good generation of domestic players, our club signed a few big players from the Serie A during the 90's for example, Vialli,Zola,Cudicini(late 90's) and Serie A teams were decent in the Champions League as well, their last legendary generation won the World Cup during the early 2000's as well. Their teams stopped producing domestic world class players at the same rate as before though, but to be fair Inter (Internaziona

    Ruben Loftus-Cheek

I have accused him of being a bit lazy in the past but i did change my opinion in that he is just a bit languid similar to how Ballack didnt always look like he was busting a gut but then the stats would show he ran the most and did the most sprints... some players just look like that

  12. Aren't we a bit quick to throw him out with the bath water? In his debut season he kept sixteen clean sheets, Only Ederson and Alisson had more. It feels like Frank hasn't played the same back four in two consequtive games which doesn't help. https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/clubs/clean_sheet?se=210 I can't find any decent info about save percentage in 2018/19 does anyone have it?

    RIP Dale Jasper

So sad about Dale Jasper 😢. Despite being the reserves captain he only played a handful of senior games for us but I remember him well having seen him play in the Football Combination many times. He was too classy for those days, considered flashy and lazy by many fans he was actually a skillful player who should have permanently played midfield really, as Centre Back he had no chance with Pates and McLaughlin there. He became even more unpopular after THAT penalty vs Sheffield Wednesday 😕. Which was totally unfair and a shame because he was Chelsea through and through, a boyhood

  14. I still maintain he just is not suited to the PL but if he went to Barca he would look class like Puyol. It would be in all 3 prties best interests if we made a transfer happen imo.

    We've got a new Kepa

You do know he is 25 right? How is that very young. He's the same school year as Ederson at City, he's two years younger than Allison. I genuinely can't think of a goalkeeper in history who became significantly better after the age of 25. Cech, Courtois, Buffon, Neuer, De Gea, all of them were stars at 25. None of them drastically improved. Cech was 24 when he got his head injury, he had played with us for 2 full seasons and was regarded as the best in the world. Just because goalkeepers can play into their 30s doesn't mean they peak any later than other footballers.

    Last Movie You Watched

Watched that 1917 film last night. Very good, I can appreciate the way it was filmed etc. but at the end of the day it’s still very much just a film about a bloke going for a walk.

    We've got a new Kepa

Yes but teams work out how to beat teams like Chelsea by watching previous games. How do you beat Chelsea? Swing a ball into the box and jump higher than the defenders. The keeper will be rooted to the spot because he's too frightened to come out and challenge. They've created more clear cut opportunities because they've identified Kepa's glaring weakness. You only need to jump higher than the defender once and you have essentially an open goal from 5 yards out. That doesn't happen to other teams.

  20. Inter won it in 2010 but had prime Jose and a solid built team, serie a was torn apart by the match fixing scandals then so there wasn't the draw of the league anymore. Top players were not considering going to Italy instead of Chelsea at that time.

Barkley isn't the best option up top but by no means should we be bringing on Anjorin out of position or an 18 year old Broja when a game is in the balance. Batshuayi should have been brought on to run their defence about.

    Random Rumours

It's pretty much known that raiola engineered this move and there was no chance he was coming to England, people seem to forget that we can't just click our fingers and sign a player anymore, we're just not that club now.

  26. We aren't seeing a fall in talent, just more clubs competing for top talent. In 2010 a top player would play for Chelsea, United, Madrid, Barca or Bayern Munich. In 2020....6 teams in the PL, 2 in Germany, 3 in Spain, 2 in Italy, 1 in France. 5 clubs have become 14, bound to see less top talent.

    Tammy Abraham

A world cup winner 2 years ago. In that season leading up to the World Cup 3 league goals in 13 games. Following year he scored 2 league goals in 27 games. Being good at International level doesn't mean you're good enough at club level, Giroud is finished in the Prem at a top club. At least Lamps can see that.

    Tammy Abraham

We do have a decent back up for Tammy Coco, his name is Oliver Giroud, a World Cup winner who is desperate to impress his national team boss to maintain his place in the squad for the Euros. Play to his strengths, long ball, crosses, ball in to feet, stick him on the center backs, and he will help bring our attack in to the game. Ask him to play like Tammy and chase everything down and run on to the ball then he will be worse than useless like against Wet Spam. Frank needs to use the players he has to get the best out of them. Different strikers, different quality, different supply. Tammy

  30. Ask yourselves this: What Evans did to Andreas at that corner, brushed him aside to win a free header, could you ever imagine Andreas doing that to Evans at a corner in a million years? If the answer is no (and the answer is no) that alone is reason enough to get him out of our club.

  31. The improvement he would have brought to Son, Alli and co would have been absurd.

  32. And why did Giroud want out? Because he's barely kicked a ball all season and tammy, who deserves to be first choice, has been flogged far too much and is increasingly showing the strain. Hazard called Giroud best target man in the game to play off last season and Yet he's never even in the squad now...not saying he should start every week, but frank could have involved him a lot more, even off the bench. batshuayi is obviously flawed but is kind of guy that can get you a goal out of nothing. By bringing Barkley and William on as false nine at Leicester we surrendered any chance of winnin

  33. I blame the board for the majority of our issues. Never supported previous managers after we won the league, unlike City who strengthened immediately after winning the league. The board also brought in mediocre players and thoroughly wasted £100-200m. Not having a clear, concise plan for our youth and academy players. It has always been about sending them on loan, season after season without a route to the first team squad. Getting rid of players who otherwise would have made us a better side or were not given enough time, i.e. Salah, KDB, Lukaku, Falcao, Felipe Luis. T

  36. One of the worst performance by a central defender for years, can't recall last time a Chelsea defender, or any defender from the top 6 teams had a shocker like that. If all his problems were initiated from that one bad pass against Barca 2 seasons ago, I dare to say he's not mentally cut out to play football at the top level. Forget about selling Luiz, looked like letting Cahill go for free was the biggest mistake we made. Cahill is not world class, but he's doing all the basics right and provide asome leadership on the field.
