    Welcome N’Golo Kante

Yeah that's definitely the only reason.

  2. I tried that too but he replied saying he wouldn’t talk to me unless I confirmed that I grew up with Mason Mount.

  3. Lampard has confirm Havertz is available for selection but unsure how fit he is after missing two weeks of group training. Silva can travel after missing the Newcastle game. Pulisic won't travel as he works to regain match fitness. Mendy James - Zouma - Rudiger - Chilwell Kante Kovacic - Mount Ziyech - Abraham - Werner If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Give Silva another game to rest to ensure he's fully rested for the Spurs game. Aim to bring Havertz on at around the hour mark,

  4. More like he wants to buy rice because he's been one of the best defensive midfielders in the premier league this season and he's only 21. If declan rice was playing for lazio and was italian the same people who are being sniffy about him would be desperate to sign him.

TV License is bollocks. Even if you don't have a TV/watch live TV, they'll harass you with nonsense letters about non-existence "investigations" that have been launched. Even if they did send someone round to investigate, they'd have no right to enter your property. Fact is, unless you're genuinely watching the BBC, don't pay it. They'd be better off moving to a subscription service. Outside of nature documentaries, BBC produces mostly complete crap anyway. All of their drama/fiction is shot and performed the same across each of their shows. It's like a really boring, niche genre, for peo

  9. That's why I much prefer to watch the ESPN analyses and punditry. Always great to listen to Frank Lebouf who doesn't hide the fact that he's a fan (but still remains objective) and incredibly even to Craig Burley (who doesn't hide the fact that he's not a fan 😂). Burley says it as it is. The only problem there is Steve Nichols and his Liverpool love in but the others are not bad. The best thing is that all their videos are uploaded on YouTube and can be watched for free.

  10. It helps when you get game changing decisions go your way as often as they do, and when you can pick and choose which refs you get. f**king joke of a league now.

  11. It's well known that Frank Lampard bases his transfer decisions on social media clips and bromances. This is why he was inseparable from his cousin, Jamie Redknapp and they played together at so many clubs

Remember that save, took a deflection and he seemed to change direction in mid air, I was always a Peter Shilton fan, and the two alternated until we played Hungary at Wembley in a qualifying decider game, Paul Mariner tripped over and scored and England won 1-0, from then on Shilton was the England no1 all the way through until Italia 90, but Clemence was a great keeper as were the other England understudies Joe Corrigan and Phil Parkes. Going back to that England v Scotland game, I seem to remember Keegan and Brooking did a great one two and Keegan scored, these are all distant memories

  14. The Brighton that beat Villa, who beat Liverpool 7-2, who we lost to. Our best win was 4-0 against Palace, who beat Leeds 4-1, who drew with Liverpool 3-3, who we lost to.

  15. There was a chant of: 'He's here, he's there, he's every f**king where, Frank Lebouef.' Lebouef complained about the song as he didn't want his kids to hear swearing associated with his name. At the next home game the song became: 'He's here, he's there, we're not allowed to swear.' I think I have it right about the complaint coming from Frank rather than from the club. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, can see the club giving tickets to those in the hospitality areas and to sponsors. Given there is about 25,000 season ticket holders and goodness knows how many members it could be a nightmare to administer. Take it turns to go?

  20. Few seasons before that when they used to come out with those orange tracksuit tops. Sometimes the opposition would come out first sometimes us none of this come out together handshake in the middle nonsense. DDR (now banned) his way of writing was sometimes hard to fathom but he said one of the things that made him support Chelsea were the nets I had no idea what he meant looking at that picture I do now although supporting a club cause you like the style of nets is still a bit weird !

  24. I think Silva has been the biggest signing for us this window. His play has been amazing but it’s his leadership that’s the most important to me. You hear it from the manager who he says he speaks with everyday. You hear it from the player interviews saying they now fully understand why he’s regarded as a top CB. You can see it in the improvements in Zouma and James defensively. It’s not like there was any coaching change. He is basically a player/coach. It sucks that we may only have him for a couple years but the affect he will have on our younger players is unmeasurable. Mendy d

  30. This i agree with. This will be the 4th time we've played a big team this season and hopefully now that our team is settled, we actually aim to dominate rather than defend the draw.

  31. I don't want to run the risk of underestimating them as well, but I don' think they are as strong as they were when they had Eriksen and Ali was playing well. We all know Mourinho won't want to lose to us (and Lamps again), but I hope we don't show then too much respect. Keep Son and Kane quiet and don't make any rash challanges on Kane near the penalty box and it's hard to see them causing us too many problems. Okay, they now have Bale as an option but can see him being on the bench again. We have a lot more for them to worry about than they do us. We play Tuesday and they play Thur

  32. Agree, anyone with a football brain can see just what a promising talent Mount is. I did read some moran on social media saying something that he does not dribble with the ball. WTF? De Bruyne is not renown for his dribbling skills, nor is Kante ...Mount has great passing ability, vision and perhaps most appropriate for the modern game presses when he or his team do not have the ball. Some players just come alive when they have the ball but Mount is always alive, rarely see him just standing still like some other offensive players when the ball is some distance from them.

  34. We dont miss Jorginho in any way at all. In the second half a Newcastle player was running with the ball towards our box and Kante got back and won the ball with a great tackle. Thats the difference for me, Jorginho would be to slow to even get there. Jorginho doesnt smell danger like Kante.

    Welcome N’Golo Kante

Ridiculous that this topic is remotely still alive. Jorginho is an OK player who plays the odd good game but isn't someone you'd point at and say 'there is a winner' Kante is a world class talent who most clubs would love to have and if you're going into a big game or final and he is missing through injury you feel a lot less confident. Lampard has finally (and god knows why it took him so long) realised the detriment to the team of moving Kante to accommodate Jorginho.

    Welcome N’Golo Kante

That's just your opinion, not an argument, learn the difference... You are probably one of those that wanted Jorginho out for 2 straight seasons before this one anyway, doesn't really mean much.

    Welcome N’Golo Kante

Yes we have a better team and part of that better team is Jorginho no longer being in the starting 11. NOW it's end of argument!

  38. You play him infront of the back four and look what happens, he has the most interception and tackles combined in the league this season. Jorginho can be sold in January.

His movement was superb for both of them also, that's the type of playing style he has to stick with if we are playing with Kante behind. The guy is extremely talented, if he can allow himself to be more creative and adventerous I think he could comfortably get in the teamsheet week in week out.
