  1. I don't see a way for Jorginho to get back into the team. It's just a fact that we look much better with Kante as the DM. Jorginho keeps things ticking, but it's not enough, it makes us weaker in other areas and to be brutally honest, we haven't looked any worse on the ball without Jorginho in the team. Kante is bringing that perfect balance right now. As a defensive shield he has been excellent, and he is moving the ball on quickly to players who are more comfortable in attacking positions. This is the best I have seen Kante since Conte was in charge and it finally looks like he ha

  3. I don't know why some people are afraid to say it. Harry Kane is one of the biggest cheats in the league. He reminds me of Suarez, he commits a foul and pretends that he is the one that is fouled.

    Welcome N’Golo Kante

There is no way anyone can say that with any degree of certainty. Come on. We GET it, you LOVE Jorginho but just accept we are playing much better and look a better side without him. Kante is the better fit - END OF.

    Welcome N’Golo Kante

Ridiculous that this topic is remotely still alive. Jorginho is an OK player who plays the odd good game but isn't someone you'd point at and say 'there is a winner' Kante is a world class talent who most clubs would love to have and if you're going into a big game or final and he is missing through injury you feel a lot less confident. Lampard has finally (and god knows why it took him so long) realised the detriment to the team of moving Kante to accommodate Jorginho.

  8. His save last night isn't getting the attention it deserves, the save in itself was excellent but the way he quickly reacted to it bouncing of his foot with Rennes players ready to pounce was sensational.

  10. Have you not seen the pages and pages of stuff about all the other matches that get televised, soft buggers going on about how great the dippers are and how they are bound to stroll the league again because the only lost 7-2 to Villa, or how Sheffield United deserved Europa League football purely because they were brave and plucky underdogs who ran about a lot and did their very best in circumstances they found extremely challenging. I honestly believe that a large number of the posters in here are football fans who have an affinity towards Chelsea, with a minority being Chelsea fans and

  11. We dont miss Jorginho in any way at all. In the second half a Newcastle player was running with the ball towards our box and Kante got back and won the ball with a great tackle. Thats the difference for me, Jorginho would be to slow to even get there. Jorginho doesnt smell danger like Kante.

    Welcome N’Golo Kante

Yes we have a better team and part of that better team is Jorginho no longer being in the starting 11. NOW it's end of argument!

  15. Excellent result in a very very tricky game considering we usually struggle there, usually struggle in Saturday lunch time games and usually struggle in games after international breaks. This had the potential to f**k us tight up but we totally dominated other than a sloppy 10 minute spell. In my opinion this is a huge result.

I love the BBC. TV would be unwatchable within 5 years if they got rid of it. They make all tv and radio better because they provide a standard which isn't bending over for advertisers. Too many people complain about the content produced which they don't like. If there was no BBC then the content provided would be even worse and the parts that those people do like wouldn't even be made. Anyway. The BBC have always been fairer to Chelsea than other broadcasters. Garth crooks seems to have a raging hard on for Rudiger which I don't understand.

  23. So, let me get this straight.... VAR gets involved to cast doubt on a stonewall penalty to West Brom. VAR then doesn't get involved for a clear foul on Gallacher in the build up to the next penalty. VAR gets involved to confirm a penalty for handball from a shot twatted from 3 yards away. VAR get involved again to allow man utd to have a second go at their penalty, applying the rules strictly for West Brom regarding keeper on the line but ignoring the rule that players aren't allowed to pause on their run ups. The problem with VAR is that it is just as open to corruption as the refs alrea

  26. Well worth getting up at 4am to have a butchers, great win at a ground in recent years where it’s been a struggle, early KO after internationals played without getting into top gear and a clean sheet, this imo is proof that SFL & Jodys masterplan is on track. Shame Temo didn’t get on the scoresheet but he’s done the assist running from his own half for Tammys and the second. All in all a great away day with tons of games left to enjoy. Top o the league for a few hours let’s all get wasted !

bisright1 and Yorkley have it right. Anyone who believes the BBC is "lefty" is a brainwashed moron and TV quality would plummet almost immediately if the BBC was axed. The lack of a non-advertising competitor holding higher standards would cause all other channels to stuff their lineups with even more advertising with little attention to quality. As is so often the case, the "profit motive" would kill the quality of the industry. The narrative around the Ferdinand JT case is skewed and the program will be a hatchet job whether it was made by the BBC, ITV, sky whoever.

Did I see some tits referring to the TV licence as "a lefty tax"??????? Really? A licence introduced originally introduced by the Conservative government of 1904, aligned with the BBC by the Conservative government of 1922, and then dedicated to the full funding of the BBC in 1927 by another Conservative government. It was jacked up from £34 to £58 by Thatcher, What sort of right-wing tool do you have to be to consider Lord Salisbury, Bonar Law, Stanley Baldwin and Thatcher as "lefty"??

  38. I don't want to run the risk of underestimating them as well, but I don' think they are as strong as they were when they had Eriksen and Ali was playing well. We all know Mourinho won't want to lose to us (and Lamps again), but I hope we don't show then too much respect. Keep Son and Kane quiet and don't make any rash challanges on Kane near the penalty box and it's hard to see them causing us too many problems. Okay, they now have Bale as an option but can see him being on the bench again. We have a lot more for them to worry about than they do us. We play Tuesday and they play Thur
