  1. That was f**king outstanding from Loftus-Cheek, brilliant one-two and was so, so unselfish to set up Mount for the sure finish. Hats off, truly brilliant.

  2. Some people can’t just sit back and enjoy a dominant Chelsea performance in which we are leading 3-0 at half time with 3 really good goals by academy players without having a snipe at some of the players who they do not favour. Lighten up FFS and enjoy.

    Timo Werner

I’m just glad that our stadium/away ends are full of people that back Timo every step of the way instead of slagging him off like people are in here. I’m going to competently disagree with most of what’s been said. Shocking footballer? No chance. Like it or not Werner is one of our most important players, I know if I have a choice of playing Timo/Mount/Kai with Lukaku I’m choosing Timo nearly every time. I’m not gonna disagree that he needs to start scoring goals but to say that he ‘only works hard’ is massively harsh on him, he’s an intelligent player that combines it with hard work, it’s not as if he’s just running around like a headless chicken

  5. For those that are complaining about Kai almost all of our attacks have been because he vacates the space in the middle, the defenders follow him and we basically get the space for a shot. Say what you want about his output but, the boy's movement is brilliant

  6. That was f**king beautiful. That little move from Hudson-Odoi to pull Kabak out of position so he could run in behind him was so good it injured Pulisic for another two weeks.

  8. This is the issue that needs addressing, we can all see that we're not the same team as last season. The pros vs the cons of Lukaku signing had to have been weighed up by Tuchel, his coaches and the board. There must be a solution otherwise this looks like poor planning. Plain and simple we needed to score more goals and brought in an elite striker, yet we don't play to his strengths whilst also recently playing in a way that highlights his limitations. Rom should be fit enough to press much more aggressively but, the fact remains that he looks so much better at the point of a front 3 than in a duo in which he has less passing options. I think 352 is more of an issue than a solution whether I'm right or Tuchel sees this is another debate entirely. Our pressing game looks so much worse in 352 than 343 I also don't see why we would even need to change to 352 since 343 actually offers more midfield overload and passing options it just seems like a less obsolete system for this team when maximising output. If you're playing 352 with this squad then it needs to be 3412 with the AM popping up in the hole with the sole responsibility to thread the attack and defense together rather than having 2 8s in a 352 who can't shoot or assist. Either way though you lose a body when playing out, because even when Timo drops deep in a 352 it again leaves Lukau isolated. Lukaku needs at least two players he can knock the ball off to who will run in behind and allow him time to get into the box. If you add in the wingbacks in a 3421 then he should have 4 options whereas in a 352 its more like 3 consistent options and occasionally a overlapping midfielder.

  11. I thought he was very good last night. Showed a lot of maturity and took on a lot of responsibility with two fairly inexperienced players either side of him.

  12. To ruin my day, I have just been sent a video of Paul Scholes biting his daughters toe nails and leaving weird comments on her Instagram posts 😐 I'm not saying our legends are squeaky clean, but United's are a bit weird. Giggs shags his brothers wife for a decade and is now going to court for being a suspected woman beater. Rooney shagging everybody. The rape accusastions against Ronaldo that he wriggled out of. Ferdinand cheating on his wife with multiple women and then getting into a relationship with another woman when she was dying of cancer. Evra making out with a raw chicken. Weirdos.

The only thing Billy will learn from his loan with this shower of sh*t is to become a loser. Revoke the loan in January.

    Timo Werner

Appalling footballer some say.... ....yet, in a team that pays to his strengths, he is still one of the most effective forwards on the planet. Why we refuse to at least give it a try is beyond me. The same is true of Lukaku, instead of playing to his strengths, we are trying to turn him into Chris Wood of Burnley. The instruction has to be "pass the ball forward quickly" - THAT is the way to get the best of Timo and Lukaku .... but no, instead we insist with the super slow, inch it forward to azpi, who checks inside, knocks it back to kante etc etc etc stagnant football we have seen for years. For what its worth, I do agree that Werner is not a natural footballer. Touch and finish is severely lacking. BUT, he is still super effective if used in the right way. We just refuse to play that way. And for those pointing out that Kante tried 1 pass that wasnt read by Werner...well, for each 1 tried, there were another 10 when he refused to play the ball quicker. We shouldnt be talking about 1 attempt at a quick forward pass between the lines, there should be 10s of such balls every game.

  20. Plain simple Inter don’t setup with 5 defenders and 3 CMs. It’s nuts and not the right way to get the best out of a £100m forward. Inter used the same formation but played either Young/Perisic as LWB, ex wingers with good delivery, Hakimi as the RWB, 2 of Barella/Eriksen/Brozovic who can pick a pass from deep in the middle, and a tricky Martinez next to him. He simply isn’t getting the service here.

  21. He suffered in the air against a side who struggled to get past him on the deck. Not saying he was Maldini or anything but he put in a good shift for someone who has played one game all season. Agree on that point, you don't need to belittle a side the way he did. Sure make your point that you were very unlucky and the opposition keeper had a great game and that you felt you deserved at least a draw, cause it is all true but show a little respect on what you are doing. We did not cheat, we did not get away with a Hawkeye failure like Villa against Sheff u, we did not give away fouls that were not given and should be pens. We fought for our lives to hold on to the 3 points. Oh and no mention of their main man falling like a fairy trying to get free kicks and that none pen from Trev eh? Lol

  22. Strictly speaking, medical matters are private. The club don't really owe us an in-depth analysis on Pulisic's health in addition to the fact he's not fit to play competitively.

  25. Best thing for me in past two games other than result is cho showing up. He’s looked excellent in the Pulisic role.. Pacy and some excellent end product. a few more games like that and he will be pushing as a first 11 starter.

    Ruben Loftus-Cheek

Loved his part in the 7th goal (seems weird saying that), the the skill, the speed, the desire and the unselfish pass at the end. In his best form since the big injury.

  28. Loved the way we was hungry to score more goals today, normally it would be 3-0 and then we declare. We need to be more ruthless, today was a good start. Brilliant performance, and it wasn’t even a game where we missed loads of easy chances, we was ruthless and actually scored some cracking goals.

  32. He definitely impressed. The only thing he didnt do was score but his pressing and off the ball movement created space for others.. He is best as a false 9 in my opinion heck we won the Champions league with him as a false 9

    Eden Hazard

I'll take him back in a heartbeat at 30 years old he still has 5 years left, regardless of the logistics something will have to give. Madrid cannot afford for him to sit on the bench but, I don't see how he gets into the team when Mbappe joins especially if Vincius keeps up his current form. Either we sign him on loan next summer or enquire about his availability in January. Personally I don't think he fits the current style of Tuchel but, ironically that could be why we could use him. In theory the only player that would render this system useless were he to play alongside Eden is the player he has he most chemistry with Lukaku. The issue is neither would press effectively, yet were we to play one at time I could see Eden working in a free role alongside two hard workers like Timo/Mason/Kai etc. Either way Rom needs to pick up his pressing game anyway. The reason our attack is struggling is because unlike most world class teams it's not build around one, two or three world class players. Even spending all that money on Rom we don't play to his strengths. At least if Eden came in we would be forced when he does play to at least let him play his game. Some things are better left in the past but, I can't see how with our current lack of creativity right now Eden wouldn't at least offer something, I also wouldn't expect him to play every game. As much as I love the attackers we have now, I can see at least 1 or 2 leaving in the summer to pursue more game time so we will need to replace them either way. Ask yourselves if Eden does leave Madrid would you really want to see him go anywhere other than home? Edit: I wouldn't specifically push for this transfer but, what I'm saying is if he is available can anyone really say no. We're also talking about at a much lower price than we sold for. Just remember the good times

    Conor Gallagher

Conor Gallagher is so good, gets better with each game. I legit think he’s our best loanee this season, if we decide to sell him at the end of the season it would be criminal.

  41. I read it was a high ankle sprain. I spent several years coaching HS American Football. A high ankle sprain is probably the worst non-catastrophic injury you can get. It takes a long time to heal, and you can't tape it and go like you can a lower sprain. You will inevitably reinjure it. The best course of action is to let it heal completely before returning.

    Trevoh Chalobah

Zouma had a bit of a habit of giving up and watching on when he thought there was nothing he could do. Fortunately Chalobah looks like he's more proactive and came up with a goal line clearance Ashley Cole would be proud of.

  43. Scholes proving once again that as a pundit, he has no clue what he is talking about United's ex players are so deluded. If he truly believes that we have the weakest defence out of the top 4, and that Man United have 2 top CB's (one definitely isn't and the other one needs to prove himself all over again after being poor for Real Madrid in recent seasons) then he clearly doesn't watch much football. Thiago Silva alone is better than any CB United have had since Vidic.
