  1. I went with Mount because he scored the winning goal, but Christensen and Kante were both immense. Very close.
  2. Tuchel speaks highly of Kai and Werner has got plenty of playing time. Although Kai hasn't gotten a whole lot of playing time, so...
  3. Dr. Manuel Veth on Twitter: "👀 #CFC https://t.co/cD8fAud8nv" / Twitter Seems to be hinting at a new rumor he's heard
  4. If Roman really wants this team to become elite, we'll have to sign a player like that eventually
  5. If we can't get Haaland, Inter's financial situation might lead us to looking at Lukaku or Lautauro Martinez. Both are very good center forwards and wouldn't be that much of a step down from Haaland. Beyond that? I'm not sure. Isak is pretty good but he's not a clear upgrade from Abraham. Maybe Icardi? I'm not sure PSG would want to sell him though. I've seen some people mention Belotti, although I'm not very high on him.
  6. Haaland is going to be a megastar. You don't pass an opportunity like that up if he wants to come here...I really don't understand why some Chelsea fans are against this.
  7. Professional performance. Big win for Tuchel as well. Hopefully the momentum carries us against Man Utd.
  8. I really don't see buying more than a single player from them, especially if it is Haaland.
  9. Our team lacks the mentality to deal with a high press. This has been a issue for a few years...
  10. Sheffield did a good job of boxing out our midfield pivot, but it was harder than it should have been for us. Werner MOTM
  11. Werner for me. He battled tonight and created a lot of chances...Tottenham is just really good at blocking and challenging shots.
  12. My prediction for tomorrow's lineup: I think Tuchel will stick to the 4-2-2-2 he used at PSG as our personnel fits it I think. Pulisic and Kante are out. Havertz could play with Werner at top with CHO sliding in with Ziyech too. We'll see.
  13. I really wanted Rangnick and I'm a bit puzzled how Marina missed that one, but I do like Tuchel as well. Hopefully he works out for us.
  14. I'm pretty sure it would be Tuchel. No way they sack Lampard for someone like Avram Grant
  15. He could form a great partnership with Werner if whoever the manager is in 2021/2022 goes with a two striker formation.
  16. To be fair, PSG is just like Chelsea when it comes to sacking managers for very dumb reasons. They didn't like an interview he gave to German press.
  17. Man, this team is on a roll. Good to see. The xG Philosophy on Twitter: "Chelsea (4.35) 3-1 (0.97) Leeds" / Twitter
  18. Seems like people love blaming Kepa and others more than Lampard
  19. Another steaming pile of sh*t served on a plate from Lampard
  20. Atalanta is probably playing the best football in the world for my money. Just a joy to watch. Pasalic is such a classy player.
  21. Edouard Mendy: 6 - Didn't really do much but looked confident and comfortable. César Azpilicueta: 7 - Helped maintain defensive shape and was a solid presence on the pitch. Thiago Silva: 7 Kurt Zouma: 7.5 - Really showed up today. Linked up with Silva well. Ben Chilwell: 8 - Second best player on the pitch today behind Jorginho. Played a smart game with only one mistake I think. N'Golo Kanté: 7 - Nothing spectacular, but looked himself. Jorginho: 8 - Controlled the game and set the tempo for the team. Made some key passes and was a solid presence in the double pivot. Callum Hudson-Odoi: 6 - Didn't do anything of note, but didn't make many mistakes either Kai Havertz: 7 - Nearly got an assist. Helped a lot with build-up and was a key guy in the offense. Looking more comfortable. Timo Werner: 5.5 - Missed a big chance and I'm not sure if I blame him for that considering he was playing out of position and probably lacked comfort, but he definitely needs to played as a striker. Not very effective as a winger. Tammy Abraham: 5.5 - Didn't look like himself. Seemed a bit distracted at times. Christian Pulisic 6 - Can't wait to see what he does once fully fit and with Ziyech as well. Werner should be leading that line. Mateo Kovacic - 5.5 Frank Lampard: 6 - Didn't do anything much different, just got the player selection right and the players played much better. The 4-2-3-1 still looks a bit too rigid for my liking. Crystal Palace: 4.5 - Kinda just sat back and defended most of the game. Not sure why they delayed coming onto the pitch so much. Very uninspired.
  22. Please tell me we aren't selling him
