  1. Im talking about us conceding a (second) goal because our players put in a half arsed effort. Sanchez didn't "kick it straight to a Fulham player" he kicked it long and none of our players competed for the ball. I'm not expecting Cucurella to recover at 100mph but I expect him to react, (the Fulham players did, hence him being offside) and not be offside (nevermind wildly out of position) when the keeper kicks it long. My point is less about Cucurella specifically, that just wound me up the moment I saw it, it's more about every single outfield player who failed to do anything to stop the goal yet Sanchez being the easy target for blame.
  2. So no blame for Cucarella for being at the wrong end of the pitch and offside? Or every other player who was upfield and didn't do anything to win the ball back and prevent them getting the winner that was obviously coming? The Sanchez scapegoating is a bit tedious tbh, he's far from the best but he's not the reason we lost.
  3. Infuriating, deserved loss. Jackson should have been hooked after 15 minutes, Felix and Nkunku I can't blame if they're looking to leave given how they're being used (or not used to be more accurate). Cucurella being upfield and offside when Sanchez sent it forward for their second just about sums the game up, dawdling and sleepwalking through the entire game.
  4. Anyone else watch the first episode of the last of us series? Very good first episode! Hope it stays as close as possible to the games story, I'd imagine it will expand a bit further mid season but very happy with it so far!
  5. Totally gutted when I heard this news, as painful as the euros final loss was I could only be happy for him seeing him celebrate after what he'd gone through. I was so lucky to get into football and Chelsea in the mid ninties just in time to see players like Luca come to the club. The team he was in and then managed is still the team I remember most fondly, the club would not be where it is now if it wasn't for Vialli!
  6. Sad to read this, always enjoyed his posts on the game and stories of the past. Absolutely loved it when he would go off at whatever resident dipper we had lurking around at the time😅 RIP mate.
  7. Is there anyone that actually wants this deal to happen? Nevermind the ludicrous idea of not only Broja going the other way but also Gallagher PLUS cash! Even if it was a purely cash deal I'd be dissapointed!
  8. They can get to f**k with that! Gallagher is more proven than Gordon and Broja is the only striker we have. Gallagher needs the season in and around the team, he's over desperate to impress right now but will do well over the season and better in the future if a scrap of patience is shown. Sell him and we'll be buying £50m Bakayokos and Drinkwaters for a decade trying to replace him.
  9. The flak Loftus-Cheek gets proves that wrong.
  10. Easy to go overboard after yet another final loss and against those utter scumbags but people need to keep their heads, he's made plenty of seemingly weird moves recently but we were hailing him as a near deity this time last year, he deserves our faith for at least another season or two.
  11. f**k off, that disgusting club and murderous fans deserve nothing
  12. That's disallowed at the other end, jota jumping foot first through the air taking out two players? no chance var allows that against them!
  13. up to citeh or real madrid to save football in this one then, the most undeserving club getting through yet again.
  14. For those of us that didn't see the first half, how significant was the non penalty/red card? Nailed on foul (the type only the victims get away with)?
  15. Eulogising over origi would be a bit like us worshiping kalou... ridiculous
  16. Not sure if others have already mentioned it but arnold's push on gordon first half, if thats salah then a penalty is given, no question whatsoever.
  17. Can you imagine the outcry if the everton player had done it? VAR and the commentators would have had something to say then.
  18. Ref couldn't wait to get in Doucoure's face then after a minimal contact trip. Standards of refs in liverpool games is appaling, so blatantly biased
  19. 2 years on the spin losing to this second rate club at home. Disgraceful performance tonight, haven't even bothered second half.
  20. The thing is many of us absolutely knew this is what would happen tonight! It's so painfully predictable.
  21. We look out of energy and ideas. At least city have now scored in the title race we're miles off being involved in.
  22. Why do we always play like this against this second rate club?
  23. Don't usually buy into the idea of the FA cup being disrespected or losing its place as a worthy trophy but guardiola has made a case for it today. woeful from him today.
