Mount, Pulisic, CHO, Ziyech and now Werner to play behind or around Tammy. Any 3 of those 5 could play together and they would be dangerous

Support drifting away is one thing. Pricing/overcomplicating fans out of matches is another. Baku has nothing to do with our stadium being filled. If we cant fill the stadium out against Brighton then yea that's a problem. Not selling out tickets to a match thousands of kilometers away which is midweek and overly complicated to get to doesn't reflect on Chelsea fans as much as the poor planning and location UEFA have chosen.
I get it, you're disappointed more fans aren't going. That doesn't mean the support isnt there however. Arsenal have the same situation and they have a 60k stadium.
You're also not mentioning the thousands of Chelsea fans across Europe who will be in attendance.

It's pointless, I've explained this several times. 150 million over 2 seasons like you said was a lot of money 10 years ago. 50 million for Torres was an absolute shock in 2011, now clubs like Everton are paying 50 million for players.

Global star is the right way to put it. In addition to the fans Chelsea has around the globe already Christian is going to sway a ton of fans here in the US in the next 2-3 years leading up to and after the World Cup.
Most serious soccer lovers here have already picked a club and he won't be swaying their minds or wallets. There is a huge migrational group of casual fans that he will pull in if he keeps this up however.
Chelsea fans in America will be born every day with him leading the US team since we don't have the geographic loyalties you do in England, most global fans will follow players. This is why about 90% of the shirts I saw in Korea were United. If I went back now I'd bet it would be about a 45/45 split of Spurs and United bc of Son. Theres always going to be that short termism but some percent are going to remain.
The club have done a very savvy job of expanding the fanbase AND upgrading the playing staff at once.

Price tags 9 years ago were much different than now. 150m over 2 seasons was a lot of money, especially for a club that is not traditionally a big spender like Madrid. You've got to give him Porto but let's be honest, his history indicates he doesn't fair well if he can't splash cash when he wants on who he wants.
He may get what he wants this summer but how long is that going to continue with Levy holding the purse strings?

Is Lampard's audacious chip from the byline at Camp Nou included? That is one of the best goals in the history of the sport.

This is him celebrating the Alonso goal he had no hand in. Really heartening to see some passion from a true son. You can tell he genuinely loves it just like us fans.

I think the right way is to give kids as many minutes we can spare without tipping down the table. This team is not challenging for titles unless they can throw together a few good cup matches.
Don't throw them to the wolves every week but if we don't know what we have in every single young player in the squad by May we could have done better. If Pedro is taking minutes from Mount, CHO, or Pulisic it's a bad thing

This talk of him leaving and being unhappy is pure US media garbage.  They have an agenda to push and panick when they their best player not starting for reasons they can't comprehend.
Pulisic is clearly good enough to play at this level, he's been productive when he plays. 4 assists already right? There are only so many minutes to dole out. He's competing against a former player of the year and 2 of the most talented young players in the country. He knows it's not going to be easy and he's working hard bc that's who he is.
Don't buy this story until you hear it from him.

Credit to the club and Frank for getting us functioning as a proper club should. No more Zappacostas, Drinkwaters or Sidwells playing in these types of matches. Give the academy players a run out like they should do and see what we have on deck. We're finally in a position where we know what we have in our young players before we send them on loan.
Honestly wouldn't buy anyone come January unless they step into the first team and make us better from day 1. The club looks brimming with young talent all over the pitch.
