Werner playing wide makes him half the player. He should play in the middle and Pulisic should come back into the starting lineup. We are yet to fully experience the Pulisic-Werner-Ziyech attack.

I don’t see how he is “clearly feeling the pressure”. He hasn’t even had his full squad yet, with a handful of injuries and hardly a preseason. It’s a long season. In years past, even last season, there’s no way we would have even fought back from 3-0 down. Shouldn’t be in that position to begin with, but everyone would’ve taken a draw against Sheffield, Bournemouth, or West Ham last season after the losses we took there.

Took his goals well, but i was also impressed with how many times he won the ball, considering he wasnt coming in as a player that is known to press particularly well. 
I also loved to weght of the 2 chances he set up for CHO and Mount. 
The CHO pass, he had to play it firm and to CHO's 1st touch otherwise the chance is gone.
Then the ball he played in for Mount looks simple, but the weight and angle was perfect for Mount to finish 1st time, real pity neither chance was taken. 
Exciting times ahead especially when you see his link up play with Abraham and Werner, and then we also have Pulisic and Ziyech to add to the mix.

Well I think that it was a decent debut overall. Yes he made one very poor pass but otherwise he was pretty decent considering that our formation wasn't the best.

Thought his 25 minute cameo went very well last night, with one excellent cross/assist for the Giroud goal, and one long range shot that was on target and required a decent save.
Great to see a new signing hit the ground running, and especially so after a period out injured.

Liverpool fans widely regard our games as the toughest they had all season, we went toe to toe every time and not once looked out of place.
Regarding United, the way they sit and back and counter is perfect for facing even finished article possession based sides let alone one still in its early stages of forming. For reference they also beat City 3 times out of 4.
You fail to mention more of the really good promising games/results. We became the first ever team to do the double on Mourinho, we beat every single member of the top 8 atleast once, we outfootballed a previous season CL semi finalist in their own backyard etc.

I think you are right. I’m completely shocked at how many players we’ve brought in. Didn’t see that coming. Still think we will have trouble selling some of the “deadwood”.
