The whole loyalty thing works both ways too. You can't sack a manager or get rid of a player, then complain about disloyalty when they show up at a rival club. Do people expect him to go and manage Leyton Orient or something?
We sacked Jose. Twice. As I recall, a lot of people on here were happy with that decision. He's entitled to look for another job and he got an offer from a Champions League club who also reached the final last season. No unemployed manager in the world would turn it down.

He was clearly doing something right though. He got the players on side, which AVB had failed to do, galvanised us and ending up achieving something that no other Chelsea manager has done. Maybe he shouldn't have got the job but after winning the CL he couldn't not get the job. My problem was really that he hadn't done a whole lot wrong when he got sacked. We were playing some fantastic football and were 4 points from 1st (and it would have been closer but for that dreadful Clattenburg performance against United). I'm sure he could have matched Benitez and won the Europa League.

Mourinhos legacy is far more than a top 3 finish and a european cup.
Also this whole 'nearly got us relegated' is a bit disingenuous. You can't get nearly relegated in December.

What made the Benitez thing worse was the way we dumped Robbie, who had done nothing to deserve the sack, to make way for him. That's still the sacking that annoys me the most.

On goal difference in a tough group. Is that really a sackable offence? Only by our ridiculous standards. Fergie, Wenger, Conte and Benitez have all been knocked out in the group stages before and kept their jobs. That same season City finished bottom of their group and didn't even win a match.

On Jose sucking up to United fans:
It's just what he does to buy himself time, if you watch the pre match interview before the game he actually says he never had fans like Chelsea fans before lol, even when we were losing almost every week he can walk down King's Road and not have a word of abuse.
    On Rafa:
f**k that noise, Robbie was challenging for the title since day 1, he would've won the Europa League anyway with the sh*te we played against to win it and don't forget he beat United in the league cup so it was basically ours but no FSW couldn't beat Swansea over 2 legs. I took a day off to watch the CWC Final as well you fat bar steward.

Ah, probably my all time favourite football chant.
No interpretation or translation needed. Chelsea fans simply telling the man he is a complete w**ker.
The fact that Roman actually thought it might be a good idea to employ him still takes my breath away.

Are people honestly expecting Mourinho to come out and say
"Yeah the United fans are okay but the ones I had at my last employer were loads better"
Especially after a game where the club he used to work for has just dished out Mourinho's biggest loss since over at United?
I think some of you go out of your way to take offence with Mourinho and micro analyse everything he says looking for double meaning or sub context about Chelsea.
I mean if you don't like him (anymore) then take heart in him not being at Chelsea and essentially get over it.

And you keep closely following everything he says swearing its all about you.
I sleep fine. It's you I'm worried about.
His team lost to another rival badly, and he says the same things all managers say to keep them on their side. You think he was gonna praise us? That would have gone down well. Utterly paranoid.

In our 111 year history we have won the league title five times.
This inspite of the unprecedented amounts of money that Roman has invested in the club.
Of those five league titles Jose Mourinho won three of them.
Three titles won in five full seasons at the club.
And despite all this I still read comments from Chelsea fans bad mouthing him.

That brilliant league title in 2015 is very inconvenient for some people and the narrative they're trying to peddle. I'm sure some would have been delighted if we hadn't won it just so they could prove a point about Mourinho.
