Sexyfootball got a reaction from Ukraine Bolt in Jadon SanchoCapology have Noni at £50K a week Tyrique George at £7.5K by way of comparison to Sancho.
The listings are interesting as a lot of the loan players are still in there, suggesting we are still paying 50%+ of their wages
ttps://www.capology.com/club/chelsea/salaries/
Not many players in the list that you could successfully argue as value-for-money. Sancho is far from alone !

I’ve said before, Poch should have been kept, for the progression, and then moved on when the right “winning” manager was identified (like Ranieri to José).
Personally, I thought last season was exciting, from the turn of the year onwards. I don’t blame Poch for not beating Liverpool in the Cup Final, that was on the players for missing the numerous chances. The same with the semi against City (that was on Jackson missing sitters). The managers job is to set the team up to win, he did this, not his fault if the players missed chances his structure set up.
Poch’s team was all over the place at the back but they were exciting to watch but the Poch haters here just can’t get over the Spurs connection. I’d guarantee that if it was an ex Chelsea legend in charge last season who had the exact same performances and results as Poch the entire fan base would be “we got rid of upward trajectory for Pep Lite borefest”.
Same fan base would be saying ex Chelsea legend got us to a cup final and semi, where the players missed chances so on them, progress in the league and got the best out of the attacking players.
Those here saying that the c*** football served up by Pep Lite doesn’t mean that Poch is a good manager is simply the Spurs bias coming through.
Plenty of “One Step Beyond” moments last season. This season, if we beat Ipswich 1-0, expect it to be played then - pathetic…..

Sexyfootball got a reaction from Ukraine Bolt in Who would you want as our next permanent manager?Potter had plenty of time to show why he should never have been appointed.
We were bumping along at one goal scored per game, same as he did at Brighton, and same as he is doing now at West Ham.

Sexyfootball reacted to Scott Harris in Marc CucurellaI agree with a lot of this.
He's been getting praise all season as one of our best players, and I do agree to some extent, but there are massive flaws in how we use him.
When he's asked to defend, he can't do it so he guesses. Sometimes he will get it right, most of the time he won't. He's basically David Luiz in that area.
His inverted full back role has been extended to a free roaming fullback role under Maresca, and it's severily damaged our game in my opinion. He's getting in the way of every attacking player, especially Palmer, who is needing to drop off and go deep because Cucurella has taken up his space. How often do we see Palmer get into the box these days? it's not often. He can't do it anymore because he has Cucurella ghosting into his position and occupying the space. I don't want Cucurella in our most attacking positions, I want our attackers there.
When an attack breaks down, we are like a man down because we have no cover. It's all well and good saying one of the midfielders need to drop off, but they're not defenders, they don't have those natual instincts to do it. We're already asking a lot of Caicedo as it is, asking him to fill in for Cucurella is over kill.
Cucurella's role is needlessly complicating things and it's so typical of coaches like Maresca to do things like this. They try and make football a more complicated game than it needs to be. Cucurella's original inverted full back role where he was moving into midfield to be the extra man to build from the back was enough, we don't need him to go any further than that. Cucurella can score 10 goals a season and I would still have this same opinion on his role that I do now. Those 10 goals are worthless if it's just stunting every other aspect of our attack.

Sexyfootball got a reaction from nonotnowjim in Jadon SanchoFind it quite funny that the same people that routinely slag off Joao Felix are simultaneously staunch defenders of Jadon Sancho, who is much worse.
Yes, you UB ... LOL

Poch was far from great, I thought he should've been here for about 2 years max.
My point is we were making some form of progress under him and had the players tailored for that style. The defence was a f**king shambles, don't get me wrong, but I was happy to see us trying something different, we were more direct and took chances.
Being plagued by injuries didn't help a lot either, which has been a big burden to Chelsea for years now. But going back to a pragmatic rigid manager who wants us to walk the ball into the box again is a total backward move. We've now just wasted two seasons trying to play two polar opposite systems and it's not fair on the players or the fans.
And there is now this clear disconnect from every department, from the board, the manager, the players, and the fans. We're singing players the manager doesn't want, which is why numerous of them are going on loan... It's a mess from top to bottom. What even is the plan at this point? From what I'm seeing we're trying to be a British Dortmund with this obsession of buying youngsters to then develop them and sell for profit... But at the same time, we keep messing around with different managerial philosophies.
So yeah, Pochettino wasn't a man who was going to win us trophies or get us challenging for the league. But I definitely think he was a good fit to get the foundations laid and get something moving for a better manager to take over. Instead, we spunked all that away for a Championship Pep wannabe, that's why many of us are saying we shouldn't have got rid of Pochettino. Not because he was a great manager, it was just a stupid move to get rid of him, especially for Maresca of all people.

Sexyfootball reacted to Zeta in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official*I'm just so tired of this modern age of "system" managers, who have one way of playing and that's it. Amorim does it at man utd, though he doesn't have the players, and they've been worse than under Ten Hag. But does he change? Postacoglu does it at Spurs even though they are flirting with relegation, because "that's the way we play, mate". These are not good managers. Good managers adapt to their players, their opposition, etc... They don't just come up with a tactic and do it forever everywhere they go.

Sexyfootball reacted to Nibs in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official*I get that some didn't rate Poch - wasn't totally convinced myself.
But without doubt he is/was 100% better than Maresca and we have downgraded - of that there can be no doubt.

Sexyfootball reacted to ducavis in Jadon SanchoIt isn’t though; fans keep looking at the finances but there is more to it than the numbers. As a starter he is currently scoring every 721mins, has less contributions than Munoz & Ait Nouri, isn’t even ranked top 70 in the league contribution wise. Those numbers will become even worse as a squad player. What you will end up with is a squad player on fat wages relative to his contribution that you can’t shift. You are also ignoring the fact he will be blocking a new signing in that position, a talented youth winger, and offers zero competition for his position.
If he was on the market today there are probably only 3-4 that might be interested in his services that can pay his wages. The big clubs won’t touch him, so it’s probably a Forest, Palace, West Ham and Everton type club. Villa and Newcastle have better options and would pass on him.

Flick, Enrique & Nagelsmann are doing good things at their respective teams so if Maresca gets sacked you have to think the SDs follow him given he was their man over the other 3.

Still holds true.
