I can. New owners came in that nobody at the club asked for, from the players, to the staff, to the fans. Instead of trying to ease their way in and make changes slowly, they were like a bull in a China shop, destroying everything from the previous regime. A Champions League winning coach, almost universally loved by the fans, sacked and replaced by Potter, a coach well out of his depth. In a single year, they make it so the club will owe £1b to other clubs over the next 8 years, and in return we get a squad full of kids with barely any experience at the top level under their name, kids that don't really look any better than the academy players we have let go. Nobody can know how well these kids will turn out, but what we do know is that more often than not, potential doesn't materialise with young players, but our new owners decided to gamble the future of the club on it. 
The worst part for me was trying to fool the fans into believing that the club was a mess under the previous ownership. One thing's for sure, I never felt under the previous regime that we could be financially ruined in the not too distant future, I also never feared relegation 2 years running. 
We have gone from being in the top 4 clubs in the whole country to a club that feels alien. It's like the complete opposite to Newcastle's new owners. They have gone about things with little fuss, no drama, just quietly making Newcastle the club their fans have been dreaming about for decades. Our owners wanted to be a lot louder though, full of themselves with massive ego's, and it's tearing the club apart.

As sad as it is, you are absolutely right. The squad has been constructed in a way that makes it next to impossible to have any success. You can't just sign unexperienced kids from terrible leagues, sell almost all the experienced players and expect to have success.

We've just had Poch come out and say he doesn't know what to do against these teams that will sit back. This is a very big problem and it correlates to our league position.

His performance yesterday is due to the team being dysfunctional in general going forward apart from the first 30 minutes.
It's pretty obvious the system is wrong when Sterling, Jackson and Noni are all poor. Only Palmer did well. Disasi and Cucu offered nothing going forward. We missed Enzo's passing.

Hard disagree. Madueke showed more than CHO did in recent times. I have no doubt if Noni went to Leverkusen like CHO he would be one of the best young wingers in the Bundesliga.

You people are funny. How can you single out Noni when every other attacker apart from Palmer was just as poor? Maatsen did nothing after he came on. Sterling did nothing all game. Same for Jackson.

I don't think Pochettino is a bad manager or that someone else could do drastically better. The players he has at his disposal are better than where we are currently sitting in the league on paper but the mentality is just not there. We lack leadership and strong characters on the pitch. When you look at the body language it seems like they either don't really care or think this current situation is somehow acceptable. But that hasn't been any different under Potter and Lampard either.
Imagine someone like John Terry or Frank Lampard being on the pitch yesterday. They would have been screaming and shouting at their teammates, urging them to get their asses out of their heads. No one does that in this current team ... Gallagher is the captain but he really doesn't strike me as a natural leader at all. Most of the players we have in our team are passengers. It makes it really hard for me to even watch the games. There is such an obvious lack of fight, passion and love for the club. I can't really identify with this current team at all.
And apart from that we also really lack a a good GK and a good striker. Sanchez and Jackson are not the answer. They are not bad but not starting calibre for a team that wants to compete for top 6 in the PL.

This I agree with. This attitude that all of this kids will just naturally turn into would beaters whilst we continue down a path of mediocrity as a team and yet all other teams will find their players will not develop and improve on a similar level is somewhat laughable.

I couldn't watch the game. When looking at the extended highlights it seems he got torn apart by Mitoma on several occasions. Surprised people think he had a good game to be honest. But then again ... highlights can be misleading.
