  1. We have some really difficult games for top 4. Looking at fixtures, we may possibly need to win the UCL to be in it next season. Also please bring on Chilwell for Alonso. Just way too slow.
  2. Great performance. Such an underrated quality player. Top class tonight.
  3. It will frustrate me if we play Pulisic at RWB just to keep the formation. I hope he is playing his natural role rather than shoehorning to fit in formation.
  4. Looking forward to Havertz, Mount, Werner already. Hoping that will be the three. Havertz has played himself into the team. Mount obviously will be back and Werner is still contributing despite the lack of goals and all three will be suitable players for the pressing game Leeds like to play.
  5. Another game where we have dominated but also looking brilliant in attack. Havertz best game in a Chelsea shirt, league wise. Was top class. Played a major part in both goals. Christensen, another dominant performance. Another clean sheet. Everton were so bad but I think it is one of the games where we were just too goo and could not handle our dominance. Everton have been really good going into today's game but we did not give them a sniff. Werner being really unlucky again. Just feels scoring wise he is cursed, but he is really contributing and I like him in the team. Whole team was brilliant. Jorginho in the middle of the park controlled that game. I look at our fixtures and on paper the only game really you expect us to lose is City, so I firmly expect us to get top 4. Well done Tuchel, well done players 👏
  6. I actually really like it. Like the yellow on the side and on the Nike badge and logo.
  7. As evident by the goal Burnley just scored. Comical 😆
  8. Yep. We have been doing it magnificently and we done it superbly again against a team who are notorious for their pressing which was a risky strategy. I was nearly having a heart attack sometimes with us playing out the back last night. It is so nerve wracking. Especially when doing it against top opposition. Luckily it paid off and heart rate got back to normal.
  9. People may say Mane was being honest in staying up and not going down under than challenge from Christensen, but it is funny, I have been saying for a while, if anything it is selfish from him. I feel him and Salah are almost competing with each other sometimes. The amount of times the other one goes for glory instead of assisting the other one is quite frequent. Mane did a similar thing against Sheffield United and decided to not go to ground and I believe on both occasions, he does not want Salah taking the penalty, because it made no sense for him to stay up. If Mane is designated penalty taker, I am sure he takes that. It is now funny that Michael Owen is having exact same thoughts 😆 This is Owen's quote: “I couldn’t believe he didn’t go down there and look, I’m not advocating he does. “It was a great touch and he possibly thought he might get a chance at the end of it ... but he did something similar a week ago (against Sheffield United). “I just wonder, and it might be a little bit of devious thoughts creeping into my head, Mo Salah is the penalty taker in this team, and if he (Mane) thinks he’s getting a chance to score he thinks ‘well I’m going to score, if I don’t stay on my feet, Mo Salah’s going to get another penalty’.” Although we dominated the game, if Mane went down and Salah converts that, could have been a totally different game.
  10. Although can be clumsy, he is very difficult to beat for pace which is a bonus of having him in the backline. Christensen is no slouch either but Rudiger has always had very good pace for a CB.
  11. Disagree on that note. You concede and go 1-0 down, you still have a better chance of getting back into it at 1-0 down rather than 0-0 and a player less. Eventually, when you play with 10 men, it is backs against the wall and it is just a matter of time before the opposition team scores. Mane scored 2 within 10 mins of second half restarting and bar the penalty miss, it became a impossible task.
  12. A lot of people were concerned when they saw Jorginho in the lineup, especially against Liverpool's press but he was magnificent. Controlled the game. Christensen and Mount brilliant once again too. Christensen and Jorginho were written off by a lot fans throughout the season, especially Christensen. He was suuperb and did not have Thiago Silva alongside him. We did not give them a sniff and was also brilliant. Delighted and bar Man City, we have played all the 'major teams' away from home now which is a bonus.
  13. Credit due. Criticized the style of football but tonight he got it spot on. From defence to attack, he completely done a number on Klopp and we looked good too. Brilliant win. Well done Tuchel.
  14. With us 1-0 up, honestly would like to see Puli come on for Ziyech for counter attack and this Liverpool defence look frightened of pace.
  15. I get he has not had enough time to work with team etc, hence he is not over-eager to change up things too much, but honestly need to see it a bit more bite in attack. There are matches this season, today included where due to the pragmatic approach it has cost us 3 points. Wolves, Southampton we should have won but I think TT choices cost us the win. Now Everton have it in their hands and on a PPG approach, they would be above us, assuming they win. Villa too. Liverpool in front now. There is not that much games left also. I like the confidence in possession and the players look a lot more assured defensively, but offensively still lacking bite.
  16. They wouldnt play a high line if Werner is playing. They are pushing up because Giroud is playing, and there is no pace in the front three, really which is why I am not surprised the game is like this.
  17. With Ziyech, he has been thrown in the team out of no where. When you have barely played and then get a start, you can't just expect fireworks. You need a run of games to build up match sharpness and form.
  18. Honestly, we have had a lot of the ball, but there is no pace in behind. I highly doubt we score if we continue with same formation/players. No can can get in behind and just looks way too stiff. No sign that will break them down.
  19. I really hope not. I can understand him playing this way against bigger teams but against the lower table teams would really like to see him integrate the attacking midfielders in. I see the way Spurs battered Burnley today. If we played 4-2-3-1 against them, we probably could have had similar scoreline imo. Anyway hope we win with Leicester losing. Big, big chance.
  20. I understand him tbh. If we sign Haaland who is 3 years younger than him, he will be a back up to a striker who is already one of the best CF on the planet and only getting better. He will get game time, but what do you do? Accept being a back up player at a club or go elsewhere to prove you can play regularly score goals. I remember Lukaku at a similar age and when he did not want to play back up/rotation and chose to go out on loan to Everton, people criticized him and look where he is now? Arguably one of the best CF on the planet. Abraham has flaws, but he scores goals. I am pretty sure if he was leading the line for us regularly in the league, he could get around 20 goals or so. Like you said, I am a big fan of him also however I understand the delay in him not wanting to commit to signing a contract right now.
  21. Don’t understand Kante coming on for Kovacic as Jorginho on a yellow and Kova is better for counter attack .
  22. Bayern wanted him the season before... the move did not materialize. Arsenal had a free shot at Aubameyang. Look at his goalscoring record in the league. United had a free shot at Fernandes. Look how that has turned out. Fernandes is skinny. Imagine if United had that attitude because he is skinny he will not work in the league....
  23. He was frustrating but so were many others. But it is like to single out CHO and say you are the most useless one out there which he wasn't. That is what irks people.
