  1. I think that’s the Stretford End. Eddie Macs wearing yellow socks so must be the replay.
  2. I went there in the late 70’s , the day of the rampage though the DIY store. Game lads though, our lot turned up in the side terrace before kick off and came a bit unstuck.
  3. Jeff Astle taking the penalty in a FA cup home defeat. I remember my dad coming home fuming after this match, it all kicked off on the pitch when their goalie John Osbourne sat on the ball.
  4. Went in the Bridge on the Friday on my way home from work, there were a couple of Everton fans taking pics in the North Stand. I got talking to them, go easy on us tomorrow they said. High Street Ken the next day !! The barriers were still being painted yellow, it was pretty warm but didn’t dry in time and peeled off and smothered our clothes.

  6. Unless it was really early I don’t remember them being anywhere in the Shed that night. I was by the Whitewall too.
  7. Have I missed something?
  8. I think it's Peter Lorimer, if that's the cup replay which I'm sure it is then that's the second high foot challenge I'm aware of.
  9. I did all the EL and League Cup matches last season.
  10. Leeds Sunderland was the first final I saw in colour at my uncles flat in Mitcham.
  11. Lovely picture. I’ve never seen that badge before, 1970/71 would normally be the single or double star.
  12. The Leicester smoke bomb game was something else, friday night as they couldn't play on Saturdays during the Rugby season as it was more popular. Constant fighting during the first half in the enclosure to our left (camera side on the telly) and they pulled hundreds of Chelsea out of there, a constant stream and stuck them in the small seated stand on our right. Then toward the end it all kicked off in the Leicester pen next to us on our left where Chelsea had got in there once the gates opened, that went on for ages too.
