  1. Desperate performance, So many players not at it, what sort of performances were those from Pulisic and Ziyech and that’s just scratching the surface. Not done their chances of future selection much of a boost. Very disappointed with both Billy and Kante, loose in possession far too often and neither got the team moving at any point in the game. painful viewing
  2. He was one of a few players that just simply didn't put it in for Lampard. Sulking because he wasn't picked, then when he was picked he was awful on a consistent basis. Its funny how all of a sudden he rediscovers his form for TT, nothing to do with formations, its application.
  3. You've obviously got some Fixation with Jorginho, as you seem to want to defend him to the Hilt. He's shocking
  4. Has to Be Eider Gudjohnsen for me, lovely player Elsewhere, if I wasn't still so Bitter, Maradona is the best player ive ever seen, Platini, Totti and Roberto Baggio were all great players
  5. That's neither here or there though is it, it doesn't mean that he's been performing well does it, I personally feel he was dog sh*t under Lampard, has played well first two games for TT and was poor again against Sheff Utd. Like it or not, certain players downed tools for Lampard
  6. I obviously don't believe the Tabloid Fodder, but as you rightly say, Player Power would be represented by a few senior players, Azpi for sure, Possibly Giroud, but these players are the voice for the likes of Jorginho (Hooray) and others that were obviously disgruntled as was apparent by the way they were performing. My main point was that with Competition for places at a premium given the size of the squad, does TT want players that are going to stab him in the back as soon as he leaves them out for a few games?
  7. Sorry, ive always spelled it like that, Apologies. Player Power is not a bad thing, you need leaders among your players. But sometimes its used in the wrong way, i think Lamps was an example of that.
  8. Not Giorginho? Im surprised some of you feel he was playing well under Lampard. I thought he was dreadful and looks a different player now TT is Coach
  9. Im not saying Frank done everything right, Far from it, He will be the first to admit he made mistakes. But there's no doubt he got sh*t on, im just saying that TT might want to bear that in mind as he's not going to be able to keep everyone happy. Especially as he's not seen what Billy can bring to the table yet, and Kante has been sparingly used so who's to say the players i have mentioned wont be spending more time on the bench once things have settled down a bit.
  10. We’ve all seen in recent seasons, not only at Chelsea, how player power can influence top level decisions at clubs. In the last few weeks since Frank’s departure we’ve witnessed vastly improved form, for example from players like Kovacic and Giorginho. Im interested in how TT should perceive this moving towards the summer transfer window, the players ive named were not the only ones, but in my opinion certainly didn’t give their All for Frank. I don’t consider these players good enough on a consistent basis for Chelsea as I’m sure we’ll all witness when Tuchel’s honeymoon period comes to an end. Should TT be mindful of this when considering his squad for next season or take the risk of trusting the players that have featured prominently for him so far? Of course it’s very early days and none of us know what’s in Tuchel’s mind long term, but considering how we know how many of these players are capable of performing when things are not going so well, I certainly wouldn’t be placing too much trust in them. Anyone any Thoughts?
  11. Let's face it, who has got a good word to say about us? The day I take notice of any of these w**k pundits is the day I don a Liverpool shirt.
  12. Thought we were generally poor tonight with the exception of Mount, Werner and Christensen. The games are coming thick and fast so perhaps tiredness was an issue. I felt he could have played Billy instead of either Kova or Giorginho to freshen it up a bit. I was more disappointed with the likes of Chilwell and James who were looking to prove a point to the new manager. I didn't think the shape worked although it is refreshing to see TT trying different formations, I thought Giroud was a virtual passenger and his inclusion left us light in midfield, but we got the win against a tricky side which keeps a nice little run going and puts us back on the premisis. KTBFFH
  13. Obviously CHO had a decent game but i thought Kovacic has looked back to last seasons good form in both games under Tuchel. i've been critical of him all season and rightly so, but i thought he was our best player today
  14. I cant believe there are Chelsea fans that slag him off. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea but he saved this club, people forget that and just see the money that he eventually made after years of fighting through the courts etc. I for one will be eternally grateful for what he done.
  15. Possibly, we'll never know will we
  16. Read the History, Chelsea would'nt exist, they wanted to develop the current site into houses had Bates not stood in their way. Im not saying he did'nt do well out of it eventually, had it not been for the untimely death of Matthew Harding there would be no Abramovic. Puppet that he is.
  17. I had a similar experience at School Argo. I live in Oxford and Chelsea were a poor, Bottom half Division 2 side, imagine what the man Utd, Liverpool etc fans were like then, and we weren't even playing in the same league. It did'nt matter to me, i was in a school where i was alone in supporting chelsea, and i loved it as i was different and nothing was ever going to change how i felt about my club. Unfortunately Football has evolved and its all about Business these days, im just thankful i got to experience the support and the club as it was back then.
  18. Its not really for this thread bisright1, but Ken Bates may have had his faults, but if it was'nt for him we would'nt be at Stamford Bridge now. He saved the club from potentially sharing with Crystal palace, or even worse ceasing to exist.
  19. Say what you like about Ken but he was Chelsea. I even think he used to privately quite enjoy it when we had just smashed someone's Ground up
  20. Free Electric , what are you moaning about
  21. I suppose i had better stop sulking and get behind the new man Just for the record i was disgusted with the way Frank was used by a club that he served so well as a player, but i learned a long time ago that this club along with many other top flight clubs sold its soul, in our case to a load of Russians that know little about Morals and Sentiment. To the younger supporters on this forum that have known nothing other than the Abramovic era, we might sound like whinging old farts, but you were unfortunate to have missed the pre Abramovic years, when this was a proper club with an identity and Balls, the way the club conducts its business these days just is'nt the Chelsea Way, Its shameful and embarrassing for us "old farts". However, its not Thomas Tuchel's fault and im Chelsea till im pushing them up despite everything, so i would like to wish him the very best of luck#carefree

  23. 100% Liam, its about Morals and Principles and at the Modern day Chelsea they dont exist. I feel your pain mate
  24. Exactly, A joke club, shame you were'nt around 40 years ago when we were a real club, with proper supporters, not Glory supporters
