Aston Villa vs Chelsea (PL) Wednesday 4th March 19:30 GMT
This thread didn’t age well. Jörgensen confident and brilliant with the ball, Garnacho very good as many others.

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Decision making can get better when he plays more matches. I’m not writing him off yet.

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Still feels like Jorgensen never got a real chance to show his ability. Need to give him a spell of games to settle and not hook him after one or two errors. If he’s not comfortable after 5-6 games or so we should look for another in the transfer window

West Ham United vs Chelsea (PL) Friday 22nd August 20:00 GMT
This could’ve been the duel of the Danes - who will take over after Schmeichel. But alas, Sanchez…

Chelsea vs Leicester City (PL) Sun 9th March 25 14:00 GMT
It’s getting boring to watch the same two keepers every game, why not switch up a little? Also, I heard that constant rotation is the best way to give keepers confidence

What? You don’t like wet, gray weather and fridge temperature?

It’s with an ‘ö’ on his Instagram so I’d go with that. It doesn’t matter much as ö and ø are the same letters and sounds. ‘O’ is wrong though

I did understand you and replied politely every freaking time. Not once did you give an answer to what I actually wrote. Instead you’ve answered me as if I were an imbecile. We can’t all be sociable, I guess. Over and out.
-
Marc Cucurella
Well, I have to assume he’s both since he has used me not being a professional footballer or referee to undermine my points.
-
Marc Cucurella
Your posts come across as condescending and you don’t seem to have any interest in or ability to understand other people’s perspectives. And if you really think that diving hasn’t increased since the 1920’s there’s no point in going on. Hope you enjoy your semi-pro refereeing and good luck with your professional football career.

And how exactly does it help the ref make correct decisions when every little contact results in players rolling around like they’ve had a foot chopped off? That’s just a stupid argument. Also, yellow cards for diving are very rare and can’t be dealt by VAR (that would be nice, though). And there’s plenty of players who don’t do it. They’re not all Vinicius. Anyway, let’s just say we don’t agree. You care about winning and nothing else, I care about the integrity of the game itself.

Marc Cucurella
Perhaps I wasn’t clear. I don’t think it’s diving when there’s contact unless the player fakes an injury. Exaggeration isn’t diving for me, and I get why players fall over when hit even if they could stay on their feet. But when there’s no contact or only a little and the player fakes intense pain or an injury afterwards - that’s what I hate.
-
Marc Cucurella
No, I’m aware of that, but as I said before diving for me is when you try to get a penalty, or red card for the opposition - Walker in Man C vs Man U is a good example. I wouldn’t call it diving if a player jumps before contact to prevent injury. As much as I can be tempted to ignore it when we win because if it, the feeling I get when other teams do the same is sickening - and so I think we all should strive to get rid of diving regardless of club.
-
Marc Cucurella
Well, it’s not either or, is it? How is diving preventing injuries? For me the game always comes first. I’d rather we never won anything again than seeing football succumb to cheating. But that’s just how I feel, I’ve never been able to enjoy winning anything by cheating either.

Marc Cucurella
Every team has been treated unfairly over the years. And the violent offenses you mention are mostly caught by VAR or at least sanctioned post match nowadays. But diving and faking injuries to try to get others sent off is a direct threat to the game, I think. So we need refs to punish that consistently as well. Really sad it’s been imported from Spain and Italy.
-
Marc Cucurella
So no one else here thinks that he needs to take responsibility? That it’s all on the ref? That his diving were unsportsmanlike?
-
Marc Cucurella
Sorry, the last part about the first yellow. And no, I didn’t mean you literally, just that fans are extremely bad at judging their own players. Not that it’s a surprise

Filip Jörgensen
Hard for him to impress in the league when he doesn’t get the chance. He’s clearly a very good goalkeeper who seems to do everything well which is more than we can say about Sanchez. But Maresca will probably want to ease him into the league to not put too much pressure on him. He’ll be our nr. 1 next season.
-
Marc Cucurella
Yeah, this is what you see on all fan fora. You’d never ever have said that if it were an opposition player
-
Marc Cucurella
I don’t care how well he plays, it’s so ridiculously unprofessional and stupid to get sent off like that after the game. If we’re honest he probably had it coming and the Hollywood acting earlier should have been a yellow as well so it was fully deserved anyhow.

Robert Sanchez joins Chelsea
Well, maybe we need to give the guy a chance to prove himself? He must’ve been #1 in a La Liga team at a young age for a reason.
