For the first time in a very long while I'm pondering whether to watch the game or just spare myself some unneccesary stress and inevitable heartbreak.
It's not even about Palmer missing out as he's been crap for weeks now. It's not about not having a number nine up front to lead the attack or reliable keeper or functioning midfiled because we're signing fragile players that can't stay fit for longer than a couple of weeks at a time and because we're run by incompetent twats.
It's just I have no faith in this group of players or that manager. We've been utter crap since Christmas period and there have been no signs of improvement. I'm expecting nothing good.

Can't score more than a single goal against a poor Leicester or Cologne team, not sure how anyone expects to score against Arsenal....a win for Arsenal, I just can't see any other result. Palmer missing but I don't think he'd make a difference anyway given the poor run of form he's in.
BTW - Congratulations to the women's team....the only ones that are continuing to win trophies where Roman left off.

The owner's actually bought a Roman era club, not one that was from Roman's long ago past.
Literally, in the most disruptive and tumultuous season that any PL club has faced we finished top 4 and reached both domestic cup finals. .
That was the club they bought, we were playing in the CL , we had a top 4 CL winning manager , they sacked him after a couple of months., sacked his replacement , etc and not only that the club was debt free, probably the only top club in Europe to have no debt whatsoever. .
It's not acceptable that within months they set about destroying everything, racking up massive debts, breaking transfer records, removing experienced staff who oversaw transfers, it goes on .And plummeting the club away down the table..
Roman's ownership wasn't in the dim past, they bought Roman's Chelsea Football Club and wrecked it

Blimey! The fact that those scores have Sancho, Sanchez or Chalobah (I'm surprised not to see Felix above him as well in those ratings) above Cucurella is absolutely b*ll*cks in my opinion. For me, Cucurella is getting player of the year so far, together with Palmer and Caicedo. Still a lot to play for, but definitely Cucu has been a surprise this season and one of the few ones that gives 120% every week.

A bit early but based on the season so far, who has been your player of the year? Mine would be Cucu with Moises in 2nd. During our good run would have had Moises in first place.
Would be a nice story for Cucu from being a player slated by the fan base at the start of his Chelsea career to player of the year a couple of years later.
