  1. You haven't thought it through, have you? If he is sold, how would our players know where to run if there's no one there to point them in the right direction.
  2. Does this team have any f**king pride? Enough with this 'lesson learned' bullsh*t, first losing to Arse and now this disaster. Some small time Leicester benchwarmer is having a laugh at our expense, back in the day he would have been twatted for something like that. Anyone remember how we won trophies back in the day? We used to have leaders. Big name leaders. Drogba, Terry, Lampard, Ballack, Cech. I don't see a single player in this Chelsea team that can be compared to them. Mount may become one in the future but he aint there yet. Azpi is a hard worker but he's not a captain you turn to when things get tough. Jorginho is a limited player whose qualities are not needed unless you're playing a specific system, otherwise he's useless. I expected more from Silva and Rudiger, too. Kante is a figher but he was alone today. Ziyech is a lazy w**ker. Werner could play another ten finals and we'd still be waiting for him to score. Why did we wait till we were a goal down to start pushing for the goal? Where was all that intensity and urgency before that? We looked scared, slow, short on confidence and out of ideas. And last but not least, if we had a proper striker upfront, we'd have won that game. Even playing as poor as we did.
  3. It's funny but I thought the biggest reason for last night's loss was one player who didn't even play. Injury to Kovacic really f**ked us up, the timing with so many big games coming every three days or so couldn't have been worse. Yes, Jorginho gifted Arse the goal, but if Kova was fit, Jorginho wouldn't have had to play so much recently and may not have even been on the pitch today. He looked fatigued both physically and mentally, and that brainfart pass was the consequence of that. Pairing Kova with Billy for this game would have given us a much more dynamic midfield.
  4. f**k yeahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. It's called Pochettino team syndrome, it manifests itself in getting petulant and turning c**tish when things don't go your way.
  6. Yes, plus Hazard has had another week to get back into shape and Kroos and Modric were given a rest over the weekend. It's going to be tough.
  7. Varane's definitely out. Ramos and Ferland Mendy are back. Valverde's expecting a second negative Covid test result, if it happens, he's also back.
  8. Werner is a guaranteed starter vs Real, his speed is an absolute must against their backline. If fit, both Werner and Pulisic will be in the first eleven. I think we're very likely to go with the same lineup we had last week in Madrid. Kovacic was the only likely candidate to start in place of Jorginho but apparently he's still out. I think our strengths and weaknesses were pretty much on dis[lay in the first game. We looked very potent going forward but weren't anywhere clinical or ruthless enough in front of goal, which made things much harder that they should have been. We also looked a bit knackered in the second half, which allowed Madrid to regain the control they lacked in the first 45. I feel that at some point itwill start to click and we're due to have a breakout attacking performance where all that hard work, determination and quality we possess will finally be converted into goals galore. Hopefully it'll start on Wednesday, God knows, we've earned it. As for Madrid, of course we can never understimate such an experienced side. Yes, most of their key players are either close to or over 30 and as a team they're clearly not as good as they were a few years ago when they won three CL titles in a row. Still, that team is full of world class players who have been there and know how to win at that level. They can score goals out of nowhere, just like Benzema did in the first match. Whatever happens, we'll have to take our chances and play at our absolute best to see them out.
  9. Or better yet, clone him again and replace Havertz with another Werner. Triple threat.
  10. Gilmour and Mount in the middle, that's risky. Also surprised at Chillwell starting when Alonso and Emerson are available and rested.
  11. I'd rather buy no one than buy Lukaku, that's how much I don't want him in the team.
  12. It's kind of funny that we're so obsessed with finishing in the top four we forget the reason why it's so important to finish in the top four. We're worried that if we drop points vs Fulham we may miss the chance to participate next season in the tournament..... we're currently two steps away from winning. Ask yourselves, if you could win just one out of two, which one would you prefer? Of course it's the Real match. We've been waiting for another shot at winning the CL for a very long time, it's the toughest and the most presitigious club competition in the world and yes, you have to give it priority over finishing in the top four, if needs be. The CL winner gets automatic place next season, anyway. I know we may miss out on both, but we have to make some tough decisions and fight till the end. As for the Fulham game, I'd rest Kante, Chilwell, T.Silva, Pulisic, Werner and Mount. Give Kovacis some playing time to get his fitness back next to Gilmour in the middle and bring back Alonso, Havertz, Abraham/Giroud, CHO and Ziyech. Maybe start Jorginho and then sub him off for Billy if things are going well. Depending on how tired Azpi/Christensen are, perhaps play Rudiger in place of either. I'd go with something like that. ................................................................................MENDY..................................................................................... .................................AZPI...............................CHRISTENSEN...............................ZOUMA................................. CHO...........................................................................................................................................................ALONSO ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,GILMOUR.............................................KOVACIC..................................................... ZIYECH...........................................................GIROUD...........................................................................HAVERTZ
  13. While we're on a subject of unfinished business, I'd prefer KDB and Salah coming back to finish whatever business was left unfinished. Lukaku? Really don't want him. Doing well in today's Serie A, given his physical attributes, doesn't really impress me much, this is the league where Tomori's looking like peak Beckenbauer. Spending ridiculous amount on Lukaku would be madness, he's really not worth it.
