Chelsea have launched a £5 million bid for Ascoli winger Riccardo Orsolini, according to reports in Italy.

Diego Costa is set to be rewarded with a lucrative new deal for transforming his Chelsea career. Chelsea want to offer the 28-year-old a two-year extension to his deal that expires in 2019. Chelsea are set to pursue their interest in Hoffenheim defender Niklas Sule when the transfer market opens next month. Sule is rated as one of the top young centre-halves in Germany and has been identified by Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo as a player capable of operating in Antonio Conte’s back-three.
