He injected some life into a very sterile performance but as so often in the past, all the good work he did came from wide areas. He did absolutely nothing centrally. In fact he was very rarely there.

I've always been of the opinion that Robbie was never abramovics choice, he was made manager as he won the cl and there was no way the owner couldnt offer him It. The second the owner had a chance he got rid, so he was always on a hiding to nothing really.
