It was a woeful miss from Torres last night. You say it was well saved, but the keeper should not have been in a position to be making a save. Any striker worth his salt wouldve put the ball to the keepers right not giving him any chance at all.

It was a hit and hope, a smash - not for me an 'instinct chance'. No excuses for me. Like his chance at the end of the Corinthians game there shouldve only been one outcome.

Sadly I/we expect that now. I would rather that chance had fallen to any other player in the Chelsea team last night and i wouldve expected them to score. The only player perhaps id be dubious about is Azpilicueta and thats only because I havent seen enough of his shooting yet to make a judgement.

I wasnt surprised when Torres missed (i consider it a miss and not a save) and that for me is what we are dealing with now. Expecting your £50 million striker to miss with the goal gaping from 5 yards.

Its comical bordering on pathetic - and its gone on far too long.

Said this last night but ill repeat myself now.

If you were to give me a list of every central defender for every club in the Premier League and ask me to choose which player i would least like to see line up for Chelsea the answer would be Clint Hill. He is at best, a mid level Championship defender.

Last night Clint Hill utterley had Torres in his pocket.

Ive gone from frustration to apathy, even sympathy  but now my emotion is simple. Every time i see him pure i feel nothing but pure anger.

If Demba Ba doesnt start 3 of the next 5 games for us then there very clearly is a huge problem at our club and the fans will have to act vocally.

I think Robbies sacking had already been decided before the Juve game. And he knew it too.

He knew he was on his way out and decided to go out on his terms. He had (quite rightly) had enough of the useless sack of £50 million sh*te and made the descion he wasnt going to put up with him anymore and no matter what he wasnt going to start that match. A match in which he would have no doubt run about like he was stuck in tar as he always does against a decent team.

This is where i do feel sorry for RDM as Danny picked up an injury and he wouldve no doubt started but fair play to Robbie for sticking to his guns and not picking blondie. He chose Hazard to play up there and id be willing to bet he'd rather have picked Paulo for centre forward than Torres that night. Of course it didnt work out but he went out his way and on his terms.

    I will always respect that.

When we broke 3 on 1 at the end I'm pretty sure I wasn't the only one baying for Oscar to go it alone.
As soon as he passed to blondie I knew the chance had gone. And so it came to pass. Im not having 'it was a good tackle by Distin' either, it was gutless from Torres.
It was just another afternoon of running away from the ball in the penalty area.

The best crosser at the club is Paulo (with both feet) but sadly we don't see enough of him to utilise it.
Interesting to see the comments about the crossing - I've been disappointed but thinking about it it has got better, I do think its the area he can improve on though!
Seems everyone agrees he is a top signing which is undeniable.
