  1. Wouldn't want Hector. I'm Austrian and also active in a german Chelsea Forum, and the members there, who know him pretty well, don't really rate him that much. According to them he isn't really good offensively, so not my first, second or third choice for the wing back position.
  2. While I think that Zouma is a better passer than Cahill, if he's got space and time, he is way more awkward in possession of the ball than the Englishman. Being pressed like we were against Tottenham, I fear he would be catastrophic. Even under Mourinho he had problems at times, but as a LCB with Conte wanting to build from the back, he would have the ball a lot more, and I think he might have problems with that. Would be a pity because I like him a lot, and because he is a beast physically and in defence, but it is a price I'm willing to pay for Conte to fulfill his vision.
  3. Would be another slow wingback. I'd rather we go for somebody quicker. Mendy looked like a great offensive fullback against Tottenham. Quick, strong, good in the air, good technique, quality deliveries, full of running. I only saw this one performance, but based on that I would definitely keep an eye on him.
  4. Don't forget about Boga. He is not the best without the ball, and he often is guilty of holding on to the ball for to long, but his ability on the ball is amazing, and he also is quite good physically. If he can iron out some of is flaws he could become one hell of a player. At the moment he is doing better in La Liga than Musonda. My top 5 would probably be Christensen, Loftus-Cheek, Traore, Aina and Chalobah Others that look promising imo are Boga, Musonda, Tomori, Clarke Salter, Solanke, Abraham, Palmer, Baker Then there are less established, younger players with potential like for example Dujon Sterling or Jay Dasilva, but they still have a long way to go.
  5. What do you think about Koulibaly? He seems like a very interesting alternative to me. Seems to be quick, strong, agressive, good in the air comfortable on the ball and a decent passer. But then again I only know him from other people's descriptions, youtube videos and squawka stats.
  6. I agree but it's only the one assist that is charitable not a couple of them. Two were from corners, two from thorugh balls and then the one today when he pulled it back for Costa after neat link up play with Hazard. None of these are "charitable".
  7. Do you think he's good enough defensively and tactically to play in the pivot alongside Matic?
  8. In that climate it's impossibe to play with the same intensity as Premier League games are played. The game yesterday is no indicator whatsoever of how well Pirlo would do in the EPL. Do you remember his games against Bayern or the first game against us in the 2012/2013 season? Showed that he struggles when he doesn't get time and space on the ball. He'd still be a class player in EPL and probably would be able to adapt his game a bit to cope with the higher tempo, but I don't think he would be the same player he is in Italy.
  9. I think he will have to because unless two of our CM's are injured at the same time I can't see him making our matchday squad.
  10. Moses is a fast and dynamic winger, who, although he played a decent season, in which he scored 10 goals, and even temporarily took Oscars place in the tam, couldn't fully convince. It wasn't until this preseason that Chelseafans saw the best of him. That's why I was very surprised that we got Willian and loaned him out, because he would have been the perfect squadplayer/impact sub. I am fully convinced that he will do well for you and cement a place as a regular starter. What he does best is going past people with pace and trickery, although his deliveries aren't always the best, and he also still has to work on his deision making. He also got a decent shot, is physically well built and quite good at getting himself into scoring positions. Defensively he isn't the best (I would rate Schürrle, Hazard and Oscar above him in that department), but he does his share and isn't lazy when it comes to tracking back.

  12. Ramires will certainly not be sold, because just a few weeks ago Mourinho hailed Ramires' ability publicly and said that he had already wanted to sign him when he was at Real and Inter.
  13. But Negredo and Soldado both banged in 25 goals in the league alone last season. The fact that Torres still starts over them shows that he is not as bad as many of you try to make him.
  14. I think he really could turn out to be something special. vimeo.com/64572415 vimeo.com/66430136
  15. I think he showed a lot of quality this season. Very good defenively, more than capable to pick out a killer pass and I think (I didn't count) our third best goal scorer all youth competitions combined (after Feruz and Kiwomya who play more offensively than him). What impresses me the most is his extreme two footedness. He even takes freekicks with both feet and those are usually very good.
  16. Do you think he can make it through? A perfect striker of the ball with either his left or his right foot, very good defensively and also a very good passer. He also captaind our team in the next gen series and looks a far better prospect to me than Ruben Loftus Cheek . What are your thoughts about him?
