I think we all need to send Pep a thank you card for Cole Palmer. The lad is pure class and I know our season hasn't be a great one so far but I dread to think how much worse it would be if we didn't have Palmer.

The thing about Conte returning is we already have the players to play 3-4-3/3-5-2 - Mudryk at wing back? 🤣

Playing devil's advocate here, and not saying that I want Poch to go, but if he does end up being removed is there a case for......
Conte to come in as a defibrillator manager. We know he will ultimately balls it up because of his ego and mouth but.
He would make these players as fit as can be. He can implement a structure. He can get results He wants more money for players which this lot seem to have no problem in making available.  He would ultimately shoot his mouth off and sabotage us, so would always only be a short term. I don't particularly like the guy but i do wonder if we needed CPR on this corpse of a team and get us back to life and within reaching distance of becoming a consistent team, does he come into the argument? 

Not enough variety in his pitching. And his discipline at the plate needs work.

Solanke is a good finisher, head, shots or backheels.

An extremely hard post to write here on the forum, but our legend and moderator Coco passed away this morning.
He's a private person and only shared details of his illness with me and Loz recently when he knew the outlook wasn't good for him.
His son kindly logged in to his account to share the news.
Coco has always been around on the forum and before that, many years ago on the CSR Forum. I will miss him around here terribly, the place won't feel the same. He loved it here and at times, it felt like he ran things on his own. He even requested to move into a different member group when the time came. He will be truly missed and our thoughts go out to his family.
I would say sleep well coco, but you won't be sleeping and will be powering up Motorbikes on the other side.
