Do you 'souly' lads (Yorkie & BB) like this kind of R&B as well?

(I Dj at scooter rallies, and as well as the 60's soul & Motown stuff a fair bit of R&B 60's SKA & 70's 'philly' style gets played)......

Ahhh Like this !!

Yeah, that's the way!

I'd just want to add that if you want to be sure that the forum recognises the URL as a proper youtube link, the easiest way is to click the "Share"-button below the video(on the youtube video page of your choice), copy the URL on the left, just below the video and just paste that address into any post on The Shed End.

Sometimes depending on the way you searched for the video, the URL in the address bar in your browser might contain some extra bit of text, which might prevent the forum from recognising it as a youtube link. Or at least that's been the case sometimes in the past at least. So that's why I always copy the short URL.

After seeing David Lynch on Louie I thought he had no other surprises for me. The I was driving around listening to some college radio and I heard a song by David Lynch come on.

I had to draw the obvious Tom Waits comparison because of their frequent film collaborations, but he can make a pretty good song.

Also if you like Mumford and Sons I would throw out a few other bands. Trampled By Turtles, Chuck Ragan, Old Crowe Medicine Show, and The Avett Brothers.

Wierd stuff. Although not him, I love that Twin Peaks album though, "Questions in a World of Blue" always brings a tear.

Chuck Ragan

Gold Country is an excellent album! I saw him live a few years ago when he opened for The Gaslight Anthem and he was so good I thought he should've been the main act. And I'm saying this as someone who hadn't even heard of Chuck Ragan before that night. He's coming over here with his Revival Tour in a couple of weeks time, but it seems I might not make it to the gig. I've got a ticket and all, but I've got work up until 10pm that night, so I'm not sure if I'll make it to the gig on time.

Don't know if I am doing this quote thing right.

I saw Chuck Ragan, I think it was the last weekend in may. He was doing the Revival tour, It was awesome. He was just walking around outside the club talking to band mates, I got to talk to him for awhile.

i guess Frank Turner is on the revival tour now, everytime he is in town I either am broke or have a conflicting date.

When you find the YouTube you want, click on SHARE - under the video a bit to the right - it will highlight the code you need. Just cope and paste that and when you click post, the video will come on. What you're doing wrong is to include the www. Edited by moi

Well, this is awkward!

The Shed End Forum relies on revenue to pay for hosting and upgrades. While we try to keep adverts as unobtrusive as possible without pop ups or video adverts, we need to run ad's to make sure we can stay online and continue to keep the forum up, as over the years costs have become very high.

Could you please allow adverts on this domain by switching it off. Some of the advert banners can actually be closed to avoid interferance of your experience on The Shed End.

Cheers now!
