This is my first post so I thought I would introduce myself.

Im a northerner (between Nottingham and Sheffield) and have supported Chelsea all my life. The reason being that my Great Grandad was a Londoner. My Dad even named my younger brother Kerry after Kerry Dixon (dont think my Mum was best pleased).

I love Chelea to bits but dont go to as many games as I would like....financial reasons mainly, plus 2 young 'uns to look after. That is one of the main reasons for me joining this forum. I would love to take my eldest (Jack 8) to his first match when we play Hull away at the start of January. Could anyone give any advice on getting a couple of tickets, or will they all be snapped up early?

Hello bigcheese and welcome - you can go straight to the "Username" thread and explain your n ame!

What do you mean "a northerner?" Nottingham isn't North! Inverness is North - Wick and Thurso are very North! Nottingham is just "Middle England!"

Greetings Bigcheese,

Ignore moi,

Inverness isn't 'North', Inverness is 'Tundra'

Hull should be one of the easier games to get tickets for. I would recommend getting yourself and your son a membership as then you can apply for tickets on those (however this obviously doesn't come free).
