Petr Cech or Ramires... I thought Ramires was our best outfield player by a mile, but ultimately it was Petr Cech who kept us in the cup.

You always know we've played bad when Cech has the most votes, but he's got mine. Top asset and we might have lost had it not been for him.

Like most here seem to think it was between Ramires and Cech.

I went with Ramires since he didn't get MotM last time.

I went for Ramires...cech was solid, though didn't have that many tough saves to make, plus he was questionable for the goal...jt takes most of the blame, but it was inside the six yard box and he should have made some effort to get there...

Ramires carried two passengers in midfield in essien and lamps, made a goal saving block of his own, hit a post and provided the only real spark in attack

Cech or Ramires, either could've got it. Went for Ramires on the whole, as he made contributions in both ends of the field, hitting the post at one end, saving a goal-bound shot at the other. Seems like we've acquired an absolute gem, lads!

Ramires for me, good to see the club do make decent signings and this one is starting to look like a good one.

Well done again to the much maligned Kalou who came on and done nothing wrong including taking his chance very well.

Went for Cech because I`m bored of giving it to Ramires lately.

Loving Ramires but went for big Pete this time. Kept us in the cup and in with a chance of making history by winning it three times on the bounce.

Without a doubt Ramires. Kept us in the cup with the block at the backpost. And for the goal he was the one who played the ball to Anelka with the outside of his boot on the edge of our box. Then he was the player to step over the ball for Kalou to score. He's getting better and better every week.

Like everyone else it was between Ramires and Cech. As I've voted for Cech a lot lately I'm going for Ramires this time.

Think we've got a Gem there and very unlucky not to score.

Cech also deserves praise but Ramires got my vote.

Either Ramires or Cech; I think Cech just edged it for me. Absolutely perfect not only with saves but distribution as well. I'm really glad to not only see Ramires adapting and doing so well but Ancelotti having faith in him as well (demonstrated by him starting over Mikel). I felt it was a bit harsh to drop Mikel; Essien deserved it more, but oh well. The result isn't bad. It's difficult to get a win at a Goodison, so hopefully we'll end this at the Bridge.
