True mate. Simon Inglis work is probably the book on British Football Stadiums.

In Dec 1913 we played on Christmas Day at home to Sheffield Wednesday, then simply known as The Wednesday.

Then away to them on Boxing Day and beat Spuds 2-1 away on 27th December !

The programme for 3rd Jan 1914 refers to us beating Spuds.

1914 would bring, of course, the start of World War 1.
