Gem Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 Discount bookshop near me, selling it for a fiver... I thought, why not? Ashley's autobiography. It didn't interest me one bit when it came out, nor did I ever think I'd buy it. But it'll be filled with quite a lot of Arsenal bashing which is always good to read. The latter chapters will be the most interesting (if you can call it that ), I'll probably give the others a miss. I doubt anyone else has it, but if anyone is interested, I'll copy a few bits from it onto here - regarding his transfer to Chelsea. 'Coz, if you're going to be interested in any of it, it'll probably be that part. So yeah thought I'd share that with you, hope you don't think any less of me (if thats possible )
Gem Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 I didn't say I was proud of my purchase By lack of replies, I gather I've lost all respect
Pauly Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 the... horror! ::Headbutt:: a little extreme but... here we are.
Mod Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 On one of the shopping channels a few nights back, they were selling an Ashley Cole signed Chelsea picture in a frame. It went right down on the bids from high to ?60, where they took it off, and moved on - nobody rang or placed bids to win it. The reason is I think the frame was worth more..
Gem Posted January 14, 2007 Author Posted January 14, 2007 Oooh.... I'm actually gonna take back my offer of copying down extracts from his book. Not because I'd get no one taking it up anyway, but because... well... he's a footballer, not an author, and you can tell His bitterness and feelings didn't bother me... but my word, his English & grammar is.. awful! You can tell it was written quickly and he was angry when doing so - its all over the place. Stick to the footie, Ashley.

Liam Posted January 14, 2007 Posted January 14, 2007 by lack of replies, I gather I've lost all respect The woman who gave us this will be a legend for life.
shammy feen Posted January 16, 2007 Posted January 16, 2007 Is it as good as Harry Potter? "Ashley Cole and the Library of Silence" "Ashley Cole and the WAG of Doom" "Ashely Cole and the Grand Kenyon"
Gem Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 Ashley's book is better than Harry Potter. Infact, I'm ever sure Carjacker's would be if he ever put crayon to paper.

Valerie Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Oh yes, but not the really really bad one, because professionally I'm in the business of anti-discrimination and such, and I don't want to be a hypocrite
