Losing sucks, always has and always will.

However, has there ever been a time where Chelsea have been beaten by a team and you cannot help but tip your hat to them?

Is there a team we really don't mind losing to (God forbid) as much as others?

Does it vary with each different fan based on experience?

Are there some teams we know we absolutely cannot lose to and some we just shrug and say "meh"?

For me I cannot stand losing to the "Bin-Dippers" and more recently "QP Hahahahaha".

My family and extended family is split between Chelsea and Manc.City so I guess I don't mind a loss to Manchester City so much, at least it's not United. I don't have any real beef with Arsenal either.

Is there another team you genuinely don't mind drawing/losing to?

Yeah, I'm with you, as I don't mind losing to Citeh as much as losing to other teams. At least that way, if we don't win the league, it makes it all the more likely that ManU won't win the league if Citeh gets the three points from playing us.

My first ever game was a night match against Norwich way back when in around 85, if my memory serves me it was Mick Shannons last game for them and i think they got relagated that season, but it didnt stop them from beating the NOT SO MIGHTY Blues.

Ever since then ive had a could careless attitude when we play the Canaries.

The teams it burns me to lose against is " in no order " Man City which goes back to the old 2nd division title chase , Middlesboro because of an incident with their supporters at the second Full Members Cup final thanks to Dorigo for making that day a happy one, then the obvious teams Utd, Spuds etc etc.

I was about to to type that it wouldnt hurt to let the little argentine from Barca get a goal against us once in a while, but seeing the season hasnt started yet ill keep that to myself FOR NOW.

No, feels the same no matter what team. As the chant goes 'f**k em all'

I would share the same thoughts.

As far as City goes, I never really cared about them but a few things in recent meetings has changed that. Namely the "Team Bridge" rubbish and their getting completely wound up over the playing of One Step Beyond at Stamford Bridge last season, for reasons known only to them.

Yeh getting wound up for us playing one step beyond is just MADNESS ::clap2:: ::clap2:: ::clap2::

City supporters are a joke, whats that stupid Poznan all about. Makes me cringe everytime I see it. Hope that disease is never seen at the bridge.

If we lose to a team and subsequently Spuds or Liverplod are relegated then I guess it wouldn't hurt... assuming we're safe in our aim!

never nice to lose to anyone....there is no team i dont mind losing to... of course some hurt less than others (usally depending on the circumstances at the time), but i will never say i dont mind.

Losing is always met with a negative feeling from me...

For example

Season proper: Sad or angry

Pre-season: Disappointed

Of course there are differing degrees on the sad or angry feelings depending, not so much on the opponent, but more the context of the game on achieving something important.

Losses breed more losses! I don't think it's acceptable to lose any game but I fear some players feel they have won enough at Chelsea and no longer feel the need to give 110 percent per game

This is very true.

The loss to Brighton didn't really effect me. As a Brighton boy myself, I half support them although I did get a lot of sh*t from my mates that day :(

Hope they get promoted this season. Would love to see them in the PL.

I hate it , stealing a celebration off another team , it's so lame. City can't even come up with their own thing. Who the hell want's to turn their back on a game everytime you score ?

I HATE losing to lower league teams in cup comps , it's the worst thing ever , there's no excuse for it.

There isn't a single team i don't mind losing a game against , i don't take defeat well.

Firstly there cant be a team we DONT MIND losing to.(but) if i had to say well done to a club that beats us it would be a team like wigan or norwich..I think if a small (?) team come fighting and win, i have great respect for em

Brighton's an unusal place isn't it?.

A few years back I went to Brighton with an old girlfriend for a long weekend break, (ie, a hopefull shagfest) & it's the only place I've ever been to where in the morning you can see a Apache attack helicopter flying low above the beach followed in the afternoon, by the sight of 2 middle aged, overwieght, bald guys skipping down the road while holding hands!.

You don't see either to often in east London that's for sure.

Mind you,the Apache helicopter might just come in handy.

We nicked a late (lucky) equalizer last year, but given how dire we were and how well Swansea played us away last season, that game came to mind when I read your comment.
