I know we've got a game on Thursday but I thought I'd start this thread anyway.

No idea which team has the home dressing room and will be wearing their home kit .. Anyone .. ?

Only once have I guessed correctly the line-up for a game but I feel pretty confident about getting this right ..

Cech, Dave, Bertie Bollocks, Luiz, Ivan, Mikel, Oscar, Rambo, Ba, Mata, Hazard.

City have Hart, Kompany, Yaya, Silva, Nasri, Tevez, Agüero, Dzeko to pick from so it will be a test.

Think it will be a tight game that may even go to pens, I also think it will be pretty cagey and tactical.

We have enormous Wembley experience of course and a great record there of recent years.

We are the holders they won it the year before, and the winners of this one will be overwhelming favourites to win the final.

I honestly think on paper we're better but they have great players as I've said.

Should be interesting ..

I think the team we play on Thursday will be a huge indicator of what we play on Sunday v City.

I think Sunday we will see a lineup similar to what we saw today, and I think Thursday we'll see Banayoun, Terry, Lampard, Moses, and maybe Ake or Marin in there too.

Only stinker is we'll have to play Torres on Thursday, and probably straight away again on Sunday.  That is not a slight on Torres, just an insight that our striking options are pretty much beyond slim.

Agreed I think Thursday could be a bit of a softer lineup, especially with our lead in the Europa. I would not shed too many tears if we lost that game either. Couple meaningless cup games really for my part. We've won the FA so many times again I wouldn't be upset to put one down in order to focus on the Prem. Hope we have our eyes set on the right prize. More money and honour involved in Champions League qualification

Looks like tickets are selling for this one pretty quick.

Seems we have sold our initial allocation with an additional 1200 available tomorrow....

City have slowly been getting back into a decent rhythm the last few weeks. Quite worried about the weekend now, although there's no reason we can't trouble them. At least we'll hopefully have a few players in the team who know what it's like to play at Wembley and get a result.

Yes really..Need a strong fresh team to play against Manchester City...

Think we will struggle against City myself. They showed signs of their old selves tonight against Manure, always dangerous on the break and in Torre they have a player we cannot match up against. They have proven a harder nut for us to crack in recent years than any other prem side, should be an interesting contest and hopefully we can prevail on the day given a bit of luck, sharp finishing but above all a rock solid defence like against Manure in the last round.

I think rather than our players worrying about Toure, he'll be worrying about us. Mata runs circles round him every time we play City and he's always visibly frustrated. With Hazard in good form, I can see the two of them making him pull his hair out, or lashing out

if JT and Lamps are in the starting line up then its ours, considering the experience and motivation they will have in the FA cup. mata as usual will be vital in our win as long as hes got a grip on the match and the back four is on point we shouldnt worry too much.

This is basically the FA Cup final, Milwall or Wigan won't really be a challenge no disrespect

Expect strongest 11 possible, we got totally outplayed at the Etihad and we haven't been able to beat them on 3 occasions this season

I don't think silva and mata can be compared, they are a different sort of player, silva carries the ball from midfield into the final third and makes plays from there, mata picks the ball up closer to the final third and goes close to goal with it. Neither is better than the other at what they do, both fantastic players. I have a good feeling about this one, if mata and hazard are playing at full potential that is. Hazard can run rings around their defence, and mata seems to frustrate the sh*t out of Yaya

Just a quick question concerning tickets. I just bought two for the game for me and a friend, some tickets were listed at 30, some at 40 and some at 50 quid. For some reason it wouldn't allow me to buy both tickets at once, and after I had bought the first one, the 30 pound ticket option wasn't available anymore. So I bought one for 30 quid and one for 50, surely there won't be any problem standing together right ?

You will be in completely different sections of the ground mate, you won't be together.

There are tons of tickets available online at various ticket sites, Im guessing this has something to do with it. If you have the cash, getting a ticket should be easy

Yeah I have seen a few tickets listed on the usual websites but I see it as all fully sold out now on the CFC website.

Bar the additional 1200 tickets that sold straight away this morning (3/member) it would seem as if all tickets were sold to 1/member.

If I remember correctly they sold a little slower last season for Spuds which seems strange....

That is a possibility- not sure how it works when in a package deal through a travel agent.

I would imagine the club will have no further tickets going on sale now as they will realsitically have to post them out tomorrow latest.
