Well...correct if I'm mistaken but where in the subject article does Jose give any such ultimatum? Quite simply, he doesn't. He does say that he wants improvement next year in regards to certain players & he does say (in the knowledge that there are rumours of big money bids for some our players) that he is of the view that certain players will stay. Hardly notice to "ship out" is it? Moreover, the journo airs the view that one of either Hazard, Oscar or Schurrle is "expected" to depart but this seems to be at odds with what Jose directly states that he feels none of the discussed players will leave unless they are of the view that they have no room for improvement. Which of these players could honestly say that they had no room for improvement?

Don't let it annoy you fella, just laugh at it. You have to remember these imbeciles operate a scattergun approach, fire out as much sh*te as possible then claim to be in the know when they actually manage to fluke one right.

You do have to wonder if we had kept Mata till the summer we might have been in a c/l final or got a few points more in the league.

Oscar was always going to tail off as he had played a load of games for a young player including the Olympics confeds etc so the killing of Mata is looking even more foolish.

,Oh, look who the article writer is! I saw him on sunday supplement a few weeks back and he was talking sh*t about chelsea & mourinho, so it's not really a surprise to see such drivel being written by him.

Or we might not.

The two full seasons we had Mata we finished miles off the pace in the league.

We had a lot of other players too. Was it their fault as well?

Hardly Mata's fault we finished where we did. Noone could accuse him of losing more points defensively than he won from his play at the other end.

I do think there was a place for him. It perhaps wasn't on the wing in the big matches where athletes were required more than technicians. But certainly there were matches where sitting in behind the striker he would have created chances that weren't created because he wasn't there.

Jose made a mistake, and if we do end up selling Oscar in the summer (not out of the question) then I think that will be an acknowledgement of that.

I wasn't blaming Mata... just take issue with the notion that selling him somehow stopped us reaching a CL final or accruing more league points. There were numerous crap results/performances in the past two seasons that he was involved in.

If we finished with a lot more points with Mata if he'd stayed the whole season, would it all be because of him?

Wonder if we had not sold Jimmy Greaves would we have won the league? I will ask me Grand-dad.

In my opinion selling butcg cost us at least 6 titles.

Just trying to provoke a decent thread. Ive seen (and dont agree with) alot of comments on here asking for Oscars sale, among others.

For my 2 cents worth, I agree with the title completely, all those who dont graft to improve and dont reach their potential should be shipped out (not this summer though) If Hazard wants to be a show pony, PSG are waiting for him, Ronaldo has proven work rate and flair can be combined to devastating effect. If Oscar comes back from winning the world cup, ego inflated and thinks that his last 6 months peformances are good enough, Hes welcome to join Kaka on the wasted talent pedastal.

Jose expects everyone to strive for 100%, improvement all the time, we give everyone of our players the absolute best chance to develop, excellent facilities, top class coaches, competetive matches, late stage European football, late stages of cups, decent wages, for the back up players, loan opportunities better than most (Courtois, Lukaku, Moses). Admittedly our chop and change at the managerial level doesnt help but I think that under those conditions if you cant suceed you never will. (Sturridge kills my arguement a little)

Another day, another anti Chelsea story! Daily Fail now saying that Jose let rip during half time yesterday blaming Matic and Salah for the failure to break Norwich down. Apparently told Salah to arrive for pre season 'ready to be a footballer'

No doubt Jose had words with the team but where do they get this sh*t? Jose has a right to use any tactic he likes to get a performance from his players but if we had trotted out in the second half and put 6 past them this wouldn't even be a story.

Opposition fans always moan about the supposed media love in for Jose since his return but I'm getting pretty sick of this trash every single day!

Ferguson was lauded for his world famous hair dryer treatment.

How would they know what was said at half time anyway?

There's a mole

If we believe in these articles, Half of our players would be leaving in the summer while others are pretty annoyed with Jose and engineering move to other clubs.
