and so to Spurts

Eton Blue at the Chelsea Megastore

He's been training, Lauren, but no contact as yet, and definitely no heading! The specialist may give him the ok in the next couple of days so here's hoping he's clear for the weekend. Personally I agree with Jose, the man comes before any football result.

As for the Spuds, they do score a lot of goals and they conceed a few too, so it should be a good open match. Having said that I suspect they will come for the draw and hope that our fixture backlog will restrict us in the replay. Sunday lunchtime fixtures can be a bit strange - may take a bit of time to get going - but the last 30 minutes will be decisive, so I expect the bench to be very influential, and SWP and Kalou have been excellent recently.

I think we need both Terry and Carvalho to feel confidence at the back, otherwise we can have serious problems and can forget about FA Cup.

It`s better, of course, to play win or lose game. F**k draw.

..................Cech.................

...........Rikky........JT............

Geremi//PF.............Bridge...

................Makelele.............

........Essien.........Lampard...

.Sheva.....Drogba....Robben.

Having Essien in the middle we can give Ballack some "rest"

and play 4-3-3.

Also I think it`s time for Diarra and Cole to have some rest.

ICole to have some rest.

icon_confused.gif He just back from injury, so he should be well rested icon_confused.gif Having said that I hope Bridgey plays!!!!!!!!!

I think it`s better to play Bridge on Sunday and then fully fit Cole on Wed against Man.City. So I hope Bridgey plays too!!!!!!!!!! icon_lol.gif

I thought SWP was just beginning to ok a few weeks back but can't say he's figured much since before the CC final? Where has he gone icon_eek.gif

I prefer Bridge to Cole on the whole but for this game I think I would rather see A Cole up against a very quick & tricky Lennon.

As for JT, I think if he is anything other than 100%, I would stick with Essien as I don't like the idea of JT playing against a very lively Spurs attack if he is not 100%.

Spuds are on a bit of a roll at present but hopefully the fact we have had a couple days more rest than them and not had to travel will tip it nicely in our favour.

JM is ready to select JT. Terry needs medical green light only..

Mourinho:

"He is training normally. He is doing everything like everyone else, he is heading the ball - so if it is my choice, I would say yes. "

'But it is not my choice. I have to wait for a final report from the medical side and they will make that decision. But yes, I want him to play.'

If there are any doubts, he shouldnt be risked. Simple as.

Its only Spuds after all.

Do what ?? This is the must win game of the season so far ?

f**k the rest of it if we lose to rottenham I will personaly remove Jose and the full first team squad will be swimming with the fishes before Roman can ?

DEFEAT IS NOT AN OPTION !!

JT has not been passed fit, Maka has the sniffles, therefore the team is:

1 Petr Cech

20 Paulo Ferreira

5 Michael Essien

6 Ricardo Carvalho

3 Ashley Cole

13 Michael Ballack

19 Lassana Diarra

8 Frank Lampard ©

7 Andriy Shevchenko

11 Didier Drogba

16 Arjen Robben

Subs: 23 Carlo Cudicini, 9 Khalid Boulahrouz, 18 Wayne Bridge, 24 Shaun Wright-Phillips, 21 Salomon Kalou.

Spurs are expected to line-up in the following 4-4-2 formation:

Cerny; Stalteri, Dawson ©, Rocha, Lee; Ghaly, Zokora, Tainio, Lennon; Berbatov, Defoe

and AGAIN, we fail to start the game properly and get punished as a result.

Jose needs to work on his team talks, as the amount of games that we start badly is f*cking ridiculous.

It's at times like these that we miss JT so, so much.
