Feeling crushed after the Watford game but we've another one in two days time to prepare for. Costa out but we're catching United at almost the best possible time - for a variety of reasons it should be a very compelling game. The last match thread I created was the home game against Dynamo Kiev - that has to be a good omen right?!

Surely the poorest man Utd v chelsea fixture for a quarter of a century...I remember us beating them 3-2 in 91 and chanting 'you're going down'

Does anyone think Mourinho will be the United manager basically tomorrow? Would be interesting and knowing that United fans sand 'Jose Mourinho' and wore masks of him during extra time, the atmosphere should be booming!

Well after sunderland I called watford a draw and this one a Nailed on draw. So guess I stick to that, even though my gut feeling is closer to a defeat now. (could just be the disappointment talking).

Maybe a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. United desperate to avoid another league defeat. Us desperate to try and find some sort of traction to our season.

Cancelling each other out. Tense and probably a boring game. That happens a fair few times we play at old trafford, usually is a battle for top spot not to actually win a rare game though lol.

Man United are in a very poor form and if Van Gaal is staying in charge then I think our chance to win is bigger. We are far away from our best, but Van Gaal will help us to back in form. But Van Gaal's chances to stay are low and Jose is an option to replace him. If it will happen we're in trouble. 

 

Anyways, I expect us to win and bring some happiness to the fans and to the club.

 

I don't even have any ideas who to put into the starting line, there are players that must be dropped but as always they will play, so I'm still thinking. I also would like to see at least one kid playing, most likely Baba Rahman because I think we need his attacking assistance because Man United's defence is very poor. Smalling is the best player there, but he can't play alone, also let's not forget that Martial is good as well, so we need Zouma to deal with him.

I do not think Guus will ask 35 year old JT to play 2 games in 3 days, but he will not want to make more than one change to his defense.

 

Cesc being withdrawn at the half means he is more likely to start this one. In Matic and Hazard I am unsure of, and would not be surprised to see Mikel and/or Ramires start for them.

The worst United team I've ever seen against an equally bad Chelsea side. There has at least been a marginal improvement from us in some areas so maybe it's not all doom and gloom, but we really need to win this and make a bit of space between us and the relegation zone.

We are both struggling for form. The advantage we have over them is our squad. And the advantage they have over us is they are playing at home.

Obviously it will end a draw which is bad for us.

We have a chance of winning this. They are in a slump and we might be getting out of one. I say 51-49 to us.

The worst Chelsea team vs the worst United team of the decade, should be a fun game. If you ask me, apart from Villa and Sunderland, I would like to play against United right now. They love possession and couldn't do f* all with it, just like us, and their defence has been crap lately, not even going to talk about LVG. We have to win this game, 19 out of 18 is just god damn awful, 22 make it sounds a little better. If Matic need to wear that awful looking mask again, he shouldn't even be allowed onto the team bus. Hazard probably will start, Zouma should be back. really think we should drop Ivanoic or Depay ( if he get a start) or Young will rip him apart. F* it, I'm predicting a 2:0 our way.

I'd give my left nut for 3pts just cant see us winning though :( ...anyway heres hoping guus has seen what players ar not performing 100% (ie cesc & co) & makes a few changes would like to see this line up
