Rangers players after the 61/62 team photo. So many great players in the picture.

Great photo. The ‘dark colour’ shown on the Copland Road Terracing, is the part of the teaching that was still to be concreted.
The terracing and enclosure was concreted over in the summer of 1962.

Clearly remember my old Grandmother ‘not being very pleased’ about the Scottish supporters who ripped up the Wembley turf and broke the crossbar.

She was calling them ‘a disgrace to Scotland’ and that they should ‘all be arrested, jailed and be made to pay for all the damage they’d caused that day.’

Any who were arrested, should be really glad she wasn’t the presiding judge when they were up in court!😀They’d most likely still be serving the sentence she gave them!,😀😀😀

Great defender.

Very underrated defender. Great in the air and a scorer of some vital goals He could really read the game.

Ahead of his time and would be outstanding in the modern game.

Forty years ago Super Ally signed for Rangers. What a great player and striker for club and country.

Yeah, but could well have been sold during the 1984/85 season.

He turned his Rangers career around from about March 1985 and never looked back.

I read some of the comments on Follow Follow earlier and mention was made of the abuse some Rangers fans gave Ally in his early days at Rangers but as you say he turned it round.
