All you lot of moaners on ere need to man up .......support the team and look for positives instead of being negative......we are still toppa the league and we will still go on to win the league ......providing we win all of our remaining 4 home games

Oh come off it. We're not pulling the complaints out of nowhere now, are we? It was a sh*t performance and there's nothing wrong with calling it as it is.

Com'on Nibs. Think about it for a moment.

No way. IF any of our players had been on anything like their game today and we had the Costa from October / November, we would have done Utd today no problem. Playing like we did today f**king Sunderland would have beaten us.

We HAVE  to drop our striker.

sh*t performance, but still 4 clear, easier run in than the front wheel skids!

For those crying like its the end of the world, get a f**king grip!

The key difference in that is the form of both teams.

Spurs are streets ahead of us in terms of current form.

Spurs will smash us next week. Could be without Courtois and Alonso. Begovic seems to be an unlucky jinx. In reality we have lost to a goal that shouldn't have been allowed and a massive deflected goal. That's unlucky. Man Utd have deserved it as they played better but on another day we might have had a bit of luck. Oh and 5 streams died while I was watching match. What a day.

I agree, but then most have put in a shift lately - Costa has gone AWOL since January. How the f**k did he get another 90 minutes today? Absolute joke.

And one of the major failings of conte this year is not trusting a 32 mill summer sighing no way costa should have been unchallenged till now

This is why I don't listen to the radio. They are f**king morons, I have spent the last 45 minutes screaming at their illiterate incompetence.

I sincerely hope the BBC burns down, they are genuinely worthless.

If this was monopoly we'd have one 'get out of jail free' card left.

Today was one of those games, as soon as I saw Beggars & Zouma start I had a bad feeling.

4 points clear ain't too shabby.

Very very shabby! We've lost two out of three!

When you see sh*t, do you call it sh*t, or do you look for positive and call it custard cream?  Deserved criticism of the team's play does not amount to treason.

We didn't look the same without Moses v Palace and today no Alonso. Too many incomplete forward passes and no cohesion. Even so it still took a dodgy decision from the ref to gift United an advantage.

Edited by the special one

Reminds me of when Spurs beat us 2-1 in April 2010, we were absolutely appalling that day as well. That cut the gap with Utd to 1 point with 3 to play. Let's hope we can pull it back together as we did then- however I fear this team isn't made of the same stuff.

You need to check your math, mate.  We're in deep sh*t.

There's some posters on here that just won't allow criticise of Chelsea or the team.

I defended us when everyone was slating the performance against Citeh as we were winning and that was the most important thing.

but when you're playing absolutely woeful football AND getting beat, there's absolutely nothing wrong with pointing it out.

I've not seen anyone make an excuse, everyone seems to be in agreement - that performance was diabolical.

The referee got the first goal wrong but we still would have lost the game, no excuses just piss poor performances across the park.

I will try to forget this game as faster as I can. We didn't look like champions, with this performance we are far away from being champions.

We couldn't even test De Gea with a single shot, nothing worked for us. It looked like only Kante wants to win.

Our key players failed, Costa has to leave already, but we still have 4 points in our hands, we still leading the table! Let's hope we will see an improvement in the next games.

COME ON CHELS!!!!!!!!!!!

ugh. and that's why you should be happy to take a point away at old trafford before the game.

both of their goals were a bit of a nonsense but that first 50-60 minutes were very poor, we were unable to find balance or composure in defence with the back three and wing backs and that is a big worry.

the title is still ours to win but psychologically the players will need to move on from this game very quickly.

I'm not ready to start absolutely laying into the players after the season they've had anyway.

Not sure how we're supposed to beat Spurs this weekend with Costa playing up top. He's worse than being a man down. FFS even Torres was decent with his link up play.

In all honesty, I don't see it having an effect on the league anyway, I wouldn't mind sending the second string team out at the weekend, our first team looks shattered, besides the league is the only focus now.

relax. not the end of the world. if anything let's hope this defeat will become a wake up call for the team.
moreover, Spurs' fixtures are starting to get harder soon. I can't see them winning all of the 6 remaining fixtures. if they do, then fair play to them they do deserve to win the league (if we drop 4 more points that is)

Nothing to say really, just absolute shambles.

I have never seen us so weak and effortless playing away at Old Trafford in all my years. Thats the truth, this was disgusting and we are well and truly in the process of bottling the title away to ugly Spuds.

pouting his lips pointing at his Manure badge, well if you have no loyalty to us we have none to you, I was his biggest fan, he has kept chipping away at me until for the first time today I can call him a c**t, thanks for teh memories but a true c**t, I see why people hated him so much now, not jealous just the man himself gets under your skin with his bollox.

Let's be honest, we have been shakey defensively. 10 games now we've shipped.

Spurs on the other hand look devastating compared to us. We cannot come back from being a goal down.

We really are in poor form going into the final stretch of the half dozen games to go.
