May 27, 20188 yr I’m genuinely gutted Liverpool lost. First time in many years I’ve liked the team and was rooting them on to win it last night. I absolutely despise Real Madrid and their prima donna’s, especially Ramos and Benzema. Sergio Ramos is a c.nt, he deliberately took Salah out of the game. Cheating tosser.

I haven't seen any CFC fans on twitter ask for death for Baka Morata or Conte - yes I have seen some get out my club tweets but nothing compared to that - maybe it's from CFC fans that I don't follow

If Courtois did what Karius did last night, I have no doubt he will be getting death threats. Just the way it is sadly.
May 27, 20188 yr Ok I Am watching a replay right now. At the 5 minute mark, Liverpool has a dangerous free kick just outside the box, maybe 21 yards out from goal. Salah and Milner are standing behind the ball , ready to take the free kick. Madrid only puts up a two man wall . How come no one else thought this was completely strange that the wall was not 4 or 5 persons? Make the goalie cover the entire goal basically in my view.

I can’t believe I’m hearing that from a Chelsea fan. Oh my god did he f**k. Have you actually seen the images? Salah has hold of Ramos arm first, he’s got his hands gripped on his. Ramos definitely fouled him on purpose so he wouldn’t get an advananteg but he wasn’t trying to injure him. You’re as deluded as the dippers

May 27, 20188 yr I need to say, as happy as I am Liverpool losing, Zidane is the luckiest man alive. The luck Madrid have had in that cup the past 3 years is ridiculous. Edited May 27, 20188 yr by Slojo

Someone wished something very unpleasant to Baka, and when called out, resorted to the default explanation of "humour"

You do need luck in Cup competitions but I think it’s unfair to say it’s all luck. Zidane deserves credit for what he’s won in the last 3 seasons. Don’t forget he also won the league in his second season too. Edited May 27, 20188 yr by Bobbywoodhogan

Zidane may be fortunate to pick up a finished product to manage but the team were deserved winners.

May 27, 20188 yr maybe I'm getting old and I know that I'm a little square in my outlook but I prefer my club's manager to retain some dignity and not pretend they are just like any "fan". I think this is pretty pathetic but it is Liverpool and they seem to love this sort of thing.... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44273355

May 27, 20188 yr Who here rates Zidiane as a world class manager? Surely he has to be but top managers you would have to say Pep, Conte and....Jose?

Zidane's a good manager, WC? Debatable. He knows what it takes to win at all cost especially in cup competitions but he also has issues in the league. If he can win the league a few more times then I'd rate him as WC. That being said, 3 CL in a row is a magnificent achievement for his first stint as a manager in one of the biggest clubs in the world. Having Real's financial backing helps matters too. Pep, Conte and Jose are some of the best managers provided they were backed by their clubs. It's a blend of good rapport with the club, players and fanbase with a dash of financial backing and tactics topped with having WC players in the squad.

We've got them too. That said from the club that proclaims YNWA, the irony is hilarious.

I have talked to GKs who prefer to see the ball and have a clearer line of sight over a 4 or 5 man wall. Navas being especially short probably makes it harder for him to locate the ball with 4 dudes standing in his way.
