Get right intae this mob Chelsea.

Translation for those south of Hadrians Wall.

Play up chaps, good show Chelsea!

Luckily my grandfather was from Edinburgh so fully understood !!. He used to give my dad so much grief for being English.

We got overrun in midfield last season wanyama is the main problem and with the high press wont be an easy intro if bakayoko is fit, the lack of personnel and the way tottenham play might be better to play 4 at the back tomorrow with a midfield sweeper behind the 2 CM's, play tight look to counter.

                        Tibo

      Dave     Rudiger    Luiz    Alonso

                    cristensen

                Baka         kante

VM                                         William

That looks right...might give Bakayoko the freedom to support the front 3 if needed...

Having 2 defensive minded mids behind him will let him push forward like you said, if he is back it should be impossible to get over loaded, only issue is willian and VM will have to give to give us all our width, the team will be quite narrow on a big pitch which may encourage balls in but we have loads of height in the middle and like this I'd also have the Fb's out wider to help stop that because Andreas can come in to help the CB's.

Playing 3 tomorrow doesn't make sense looking at what we have available, for me this seems the best set up tactically.

Like that set-up tbh. If only we had Hazard n someone equal to him at RF on another day would have been an ideal squad for quite a while. Tactically flexible too

I am with the greatest respect to our Blues Brothers, very pessimistic about this one.

It can't come at a worse time than this to have this game before us. We are underprepared and look unfit to play. What is worse is we have such a weak line up.

It is great to see we remain hopeful, and I really hope I am wrong.

Maybe I'm just over confident when it comes to Chelsea but I wasn't impressed with them last week against Newcastle had a draw written all over it until Newcastle lost a man.

Spuds are sh*t at Wembley and I see no reason why we can't beat them, if pedro and bakayoko are fit then in reality we are only missing hazard, Rudiger and bakayoko are better than the players they are replacing for me. There is a stupid idea in my head that morata might start on the bench again, conte does things like that sometimes, hopefully not.

Any more news on unsold tickets? Adverts on the tube, radio stations. I heard 20,000 unsold, is this true?
I read a report that they aren't allowed to sell 20k tickets due to restrictions moving from a smaller stadium.

Horrible wait to see what our team looks like - the above from DonAntonio isn't too bad mind.

If we start with Bakayoko in the middle and Morata up front I may be slightly more optimistic of our chances, and having some new fresh faces in our side at least gives Spurs an element of surprise since they won't have seen much of these players in our team in order to counter them. If I see Michy up top again though and somebody like Luiz in midfield then I'm prepared for the worst.

I don't know why but I've got a good feeling about today, still think we might snatch a result out of this.

same feeling here...fingers crossed...

Big game this.

Our form against the other big 5 away from home last season was a bit ropey. Lost 2-0 to Spurs and United, lost 3-0 to Arsenal as well. Sometimes, I think Antonio doesn't quite get it tactically right in these sorts of games. We can forgive him though as he's a brilliant manager.

Spurs will be desperate to win this to prove there's no Wembley hoodoo, especially against a understrength Chelsea side who could be missing Hazard, Bakayoko and Pedro not to mention Cesc and Cahill are suspended.

Expecting us to lose 2-0 but honestly wouldn't surprise me if it finished a cagey 1-1.

Anyone know what pubs we got round wembley i know we had the green man last time for FA cup final but not sure about today

id be shocked to see us play 4 at the back.

Courtois

azpi Luiz Rudiger

moses kante bakayoko alonso

William morata boga

Thats what I'm expecting, although I'd prefer to see christiensen and musonda start ahead of rudiger and boga.

Conte's demeanour in the last couple of days have me feeling less anxious about today. A loss would be bad, but I think the doomsday implode the media are pushing is way off the mark.

We went away to Liverpool with a worse side, and comfortably won 2 nil a couple of years back, so I think we have a good chance, especially with it being at Wembley.

I'd take a point right now though if I'm being honest.
