Olivier Giroud to Chelsea

If the board don't want to sign players for Conte then at least buy quality players for the next manager. The links to Crouch, Barnes are ridicolous but Giroud would be a decent back up but we should be looking at signing someone to compete with Morata.

Aguero/Jesus

Lukaku/Sanchez/Ibra

Lacazette/Auba?

Morata/Crouch/Barnes?

Some of you just seem to be in the swing of having a moan about anything.

I can't see it happening but Giroud is in my opinion very likely the best non-starting striker in world football and would be an incredible signing.

If Arsenal were stupid enough to even consider selling him to us then we should not even stop to consider it for fear they'd come quickly to their senses.

Is Olivier the 6th choice French striker or 7th at this point lol

He's actually first choice. Believe it or not.

His link up play with Griezmann is quality but he's in danger of losing his place for the WC because of his lack of game time this season.

He'd only move somewhere he's guaranteed to start.

It's a wonder he's scored the number of goals he has. Incredibly slow, bottles it in front of goal, every time I watch him, he seems to have very little threat about him... Always happy to see him in the arsenal side.

Out of Dzeko, Giroud and Slimani, I'd take the other two first, even though they're all pretty meh. Giroud, Dzeko both 31, cost more, will demand bigger wages and expect more game time.

Slimani not as good all-round but younger (29) more aggressive style, cheaper both wages and fee wise and will probably be happier with less time.

Also available for Cl.

Plus he's probably got the desire to prove himself, seeing as he had an excellent record at sporting and will probably  feel he hasn't been hasn't been given a proper shot.

I'd say 35m is about right. International who has scored plenty of goals at that level, his goal per game ratio for Le Arse isn't terrible either.

We paid 35m for Drinkwater remember. Yes him being English bumped the price, but 35m for a club like us only gets you a fringe first teamer/squad player these days.
