today's game seems a mish mash of different styles of playing, and the players are just looking lost, bereft of ideas and creativity.  But it's the same old problem carrying over from last season and the season before, is that when we get to the oppositions 18 yard box it all goes to sh*t; either poor crosses, not enough players making runs, not enough players in the box and rarely someone having a shot from more than 10 yards.  You can have all the possession you want but if you do f**k all with it when you get to the other end its a waste of time.

BTW ..nice goal RLC exactly what we have been missing, driving at the opposition and arriving in the box....has to start next game.

Just now, Slojo said:

Ruben is finding himself, he's definitely an attacking player, brilliant play.

With the way Sarri set's us up, he may be the perfect fit for that position after all. Kovacic is often deep for an attacking midfielder, but he doesn't have the legs to drag him forward and in attacking positions he looks lost, Loftus-Cheek is great bringing the ball out from deep, and he's proving to be very useful in attacking areas.
