We know it (Chelsea fans that follow his development).

Most fans don't especially those that didn't follow his journey.

Even Lampard took years before English fans even recognize him as a good player

I beg you: don't use the j word. Everything people do is a journey nowadays

The England team is perfect for 433.

Mount and Grealish are very capable as an 8 with the more defensive Henderson behind. It’s a solid midfield.

No Silva and Kante.

Henderson is levels below Kante and most England CBs nowadays are slow and is average at reading the game.

A very good game again from Mount. Always making himself available for the ball, good forward runs capped with a goal that had Lamps all over it. In the England team  merit now, will be one of the first names on teamsheet.

Also great defensively tracking runs and pressing with intent..but with Foden’s performance ppl are unlikely to put the spotlight on him.. he can continue to develop quietly.

As he matures, you can see he is stronger, and faster, he really is the modern player, and a good un at that.

He's already a very good player and is still young. Probably more advanced than Lampard was when he first joined us, key is whether he can really take the next step to being elite like Frank did.
