Chelsea v Luton (FA) Sun 24th Jan 2021 12:00 GMT

Kepa was at fault for the goal no doubt about it but let's not ignore Zouma's absolutely embarrassing defending.

Totally incomparable to the years of watching Terry and Cahill diving in front of shots.

Why are we always trying to walk the ball in the back of the net rather than shoot from outside the box when opportunities arrive...and arrive in the box half an hour after the ball has been crossed ....this is Luton we are playing?

And kepa was perfectly fine under sarri.

He needs a change of scenery though he will never get his confidence back here.

He wasn’t though was he? This is revision bias. Statistically he was still pretty average and no where near a £70m goalkeeper - he just got cut more slack because he was in a new environment and young.

It’s by the by now, it was terrible business and he shouldn’t be near our starting XI at this stage.

It's revisionist bias to suddenly think he was always playing this poorly. He was fine. Not out of this world but not need a replacement NOW level.
