bjd Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 Its great footage isnt it. Pure theatre. And how the plastics hated it, at their own patch too
abramovich Posted May 9, 2007 Author Posted May 9, 2007 The fact that it happened at the New Library makes it even better.
Valerie Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 Great stuff. BTW, where's Liam's comment on JT's tears ?
Lofty Posted May 9, 2007 Posted May 9, 2007 I can't see it at the moment. Tiscali (scuse the language) strike again.
clubhappy Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Its makes you proud the he's OUR manager and nobody elses dosen't it . Call it theater if you like , in fact call it what you want , to me its a man who loves his players , his fans and his club . Theres nothing that can replace that kind of reaction or passion . To me the man is a living legend in the eyes of this Chelsea fan and when he's gone its good to know we can all look back at moments like that and feel proud we had /have him as our manager . LOVE THE MAN TO BITS .
Fansince65 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Ihadn't seen that footage till just now, but it just made me cry! it epitomised everything that being a Chelsea fan is all about, it's not about winning ,it's not about losing, it's about being Chelsea, the pride ,the passion , the love, the very essence of following the greatest football club you could possibly have the priveledge of supporting every day of your life. I don't care if we don't win another trophy from now till domesday, the fact is that Chelsea are my team and always will be just like my Mrs will always be my Mrs , she will piss me off from time to time, but I would never change her for all the world.
just Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I said everything I wanted to say here: http://www.csrforums2.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=3533
Liam Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Look at me everybody...no...I mean...Look at the players. Great stuff alright. There's never a dull moment with Mourinho.
BLUENUT Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 How anyone would contemplate sacking this man is mind boggling! JM=
midlandblue Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I think he's one of us now. Hope he stays as long as I have .
Sofa Manager Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Look at me everybody...no...I mean...Look at the players. Great stuff alright. There's never a dull moment with Mourinho. Allow me to rephrase that "Look at me while I point at the players and do a chin up impression"
BLUENUT Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I think he's one of us now.Hope he stays as long as I have . Hope he stays as long as I live
Fansince65 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Just watched it again in the cold light of day, what a legend JM is ! he loves his players and he loves the fans, the first thing he did after the final whistle was go to the fans, not bothering with niceties with the Arse' bench he wanted to be with those that mattered, his players, his fans, Also notice those librarians booing his every step? I hope those tossers drown in their own tears next season.
Paul_Seery Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 I agree with the title of the thread. The reaction by the fans after we lost the title was fantastic and showed that our fans were proud of the way have played and those players are a credit for the club and will be stronger for it next season.
