Posted August 22, 20231 yr Sorry if there is already a post on him....what are our thoughts on him? Seems to be available....RW/AM role.....eye for goal....Community Shield and Super Cup... I'm intrigued if the price is right.
August 22, 20231 yr Great idea honestly. Would fit perfectly. I mean, we could sign soneone experience ie. Nkunku. But we won't. So I'd rather have Cole Palmer than Brennan Johnson. Shame about Olise though.
August 22, 20231 yr He would not get any more game time here than at City this season, so wouldn't make any sense for him to move.

August 22, 20231 yr Shall we book him in for knee surgery at this point or wait until he plays his first game for is?
August 22, 20231 yr I don't think we need to sign more wide attackers. We've got Sterling, Mudyrk, Maduwueke, and then Nkuku to come back.

He may well do but he won't be a guaranteed starter. And he will need not be automatically slotted in the team. I think Madueke also needs a run of games but because he has not been given consistent game time, people seem to have written him off. Also City right now don't have a lot of wingers and already have injuries and he would develop better there imo, especially under Pep.

August 23, 20231 yr I dunno about cole palmer and injuries but Nkunku will now miss two seasons in a row with injuries, Sterling is ageing even if so much fun to watch this season, and Maduwueke has a history of missing lots of action through injury. In fact I would like to see some evidence that Maduwueke wont be regularly injured going forward. As to whether Palmer would develop better under Pep who gives a stuff? We clearly need some more support. Think Palmer might be a reasonable choice. As things stand I expect Mudryck is finally gunna get a good run of games and so we will see what he really is made of. He is 28! Don't make me feel old 😄 On serious note, bar few games last season, he generally rarely gets injured throughout most his career. Has never had any real lengthy periods injured and seems to keep in top condition. He still has a good few years left, even though some people worry about burnout because he started his career very young.
August 30, 20231 yr Poch - "I want experience" Board - "Say no more" Â Â Edited August 30, 20231 yr by Sconnie Blue
August 30, 20231 yr Definitely a promising player but at what point are we going to stop bringing in kids to a school already full of kids? Past few weeks Poch has been banging on about experience, yet we want another player with hardly any first team minutes under his belt?
August 30, 20231 yr I watched him play for City. Looked very promising but super raw. I am not sure if he can add anything we need.Â
August 30, 20231 yr I definitely rate him but I was expecting a more experienced player to be honest. Although I'd surprised if City sold him.
August 30, 20231 yr He promises much. Outstanding in the U21 Euros. But, as has been said, how many more babies?

August 30, 20231 yr Taking the KDB loss a little too personally. Taking City's 2 biggest prospects in Lavia and Palmer.Â
August 30, 20231 yr Another day, another 21 year old. I'd rather we not sign anyone to be honest. He has good potential but we have said that for so many of our signings, there's no gaurentee any of these come good. He's not PL ready, he's probably had like 20-30 sub apperances in total with a couple of minutes here and there. Does he make us any stronger to achieve champions league football this year? If the answer is not a resounding yes then we should stay away. Â

August 30, 20231 yr Think he's a decent player but he's hardly the shock surprise signing of the window, for them all to fly in and meet at Cobham to decide on the right player. Â
August 30, 20231 yr If we sign him he’ll probably turn out more Carlton Palmer. 25 minutes ago, DarkMata said: There's no guarantee any of these come good, but if you buy enough of them.... I know you weren’t being serious, but he thing with this is that with too many young inexperienced players in the squad/team, I think you reduce your chances of any coming good. They learn so much from playing with experienced players in good teams.
August 30, 20231 yr It's an interesting one, would fit the bill of being able to play across the front and seemingly has good potential. However, supposedly the media had been briefed that we were looking for someone with PL experience of which his is limited, and you do wonder why City would be happy to let him go after selling Mahrez. Surely the right was his position to lock down or at least get more minutes.Â

Probably sees a better opportunity to get more minutes here than at City also.Â
